He could go to UK and it wouldn't matter if he ran for 2,000 yards and a Heisman in his freshman year. Once November rolls around, few people will care about his accomplishments because it's officially basketball season. He can go to Bama and be a god in the long line of Saban running back gods like Ingram, Richardson, and soon to be Derrick Henry.

Wish he would've come here, but he made a great choice nonetheless.

I live in KY too and the few UK fans I talked to about it were not happy about it but not that upset. They were happy he didn't pick OSU though. But they Hate OSU more than they like UK football.

He'll get UK their share of better talent but he won't have a pack of crazoid bloggers breathing down his neck for not getting every last recruit out of Kentucky. Flying under the radar at a place where there's not much pressure on the football team.

It's fine. We have three years of Ty Isaac and two of Johnson/Green. If Drevno inducts our OL into "the tao of ass-kicking" (as I read it put so wonderfully), we will be more than fine. It will help us to bring in top shelf guys next year, given that there will be playing time space available.

Best of luck to this kid, he's going to be good. He'll probably get some carries next year behind Henry (who is an absolute beast, I'm still puzzled that he was not rated ahead of Green looking at their highlight tapes).

I look forward to facing Harris in the CFB Playoff.

The one player from recent years I was really hoping to see in the winged helmet above all others that we didn't get is Treadwell.

On DH, I think we lost him when Gorgeous Al was let go. If that was the option to get Harris, I'm happy he's going to Bama
