[EDITED] Best Michigan Jersey Thread
[Ed-Seth: I thought we would open this topic up to best Michigan jersey ideas in general. I have an upcoming Roundtable question saved on but the more opinions the better. What would you get if you could have any signed jersey? What have you seen that you were like "that's awesome?" What attributes make a jersey you want to represent (how good a guy the guy is, how good a player he was etc)? and what downrates one (left early for NFL, too obscure, to popular)?
Original Post:
Hey guys, I have a Charles Woodson signed jersey on the left hand side of my room wall, in middle have a framed picture of 4 all time greats at Michigan, and have extra money I have saved up, and need a jersey on right hand side of wall. What signed jersey should I get? Need help! I was thinking 1. Howard, 2. Brady, 3. Carter. What is your thoughts? Thanks again!

That's a tough call for me - I've always thought Desmond had better hands (seriously, has anyone ever had better hands???) but Anthony was better running after the catch. It'd be interesting to see a YAC comparison. Never could figure out how Carter made it through college without losing his legs. Never seen such toothpicks on a player!

My uncle has two 21's hanging on the wall. One home, and one away. One signed by Howard, and one signed by TD Tim. It is pretty sweet.

Carter had a better overall career at Michigan. Howard had one amazing season and a second good year and if you want a Brady jersey, get a Patriots one.

a Michigan Brady jersey? I think his Michigan career was damn good, though it could have been even greater had he gotten starter minutes instead of that rotation thing Lloyd Carr tried and stuck with for too long.

Brady was not bad in college- you're incorrect there, young fella. Get Howard so you have the heisman duo from the 90's.

Nick Sheridan represented Michigan with honor and class. He was a walkon who earned a scholly, got his degree and is now coaching at Tennessee. Put Threet and Forcier on the clearnace rack. Burn the Mallett and Boren jerseys.
But Nick Sheridan deserves your respect and gratitude for sticking it out through the good and the bad.
