OT: Penn State and Indiana Fall in College Hoops
UNC-Wilmington beat PSU pretty easily in an 80-69 win, and Indiana lost to Ole Miss 89-71. The Indiana loss is totally understandable as Mississippi probably has a decent team and program, but the PSU loss is pretty bad. UNC-Wilmington? Really? Looks like Penn State had a terrible shooting night with only 32% of all their shots dropping, and that is compared to UNCW's 57.4%. I'm kind of confused as to why PSU would play at UNCW, too. You would think that they could get the home matchup in this one, but maybe they wanted a road game early. Also, it looks like UNC is having their way with OSU so far. It would be nice for the Big Ten to win this game, but I never root for rivals in that situation anyways. Overall, it is not looking like a good night so far for the Big Ten. OSU could come back, but I don't see it happening. Thoughts?
By the way, I got those stats off of ESPN.com

...not good for the B10 but I think the conference will be strong. Tough to root for OSU, especially this week, but you want the conference to look good. Maybe the start of an OSU cross-sport losing streak?
Just win Saturday

The good thing about basketball as opposed to Football is the season is about 25 months long so things will shake out by February.

and UNC is having their way with OSU. I think we've found the way to beat osu in bball: get them in foul trouble. the only problem is that we don't have the physical size to pound the ball and draw fouls...
