OT: Just bought a boat and I need to name it...
So I just took the plunge and bought a boat. I figured it should be something fun to help pass the time until September gets here. However, I hear its bad luck to own a boat without a name. I was thinking of something cliche like Bo or Dilithium but neither is really original... Any thoughts?

If you sail the smaller, inland lakes, try "MgoBog"
If you sail with wealthy types, try the "J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Craft"
If you have no sail, no engine, no paddles and no clue, call it "Sparty"

Are all JV17 center console?
I've never seen a JV17 tiller before. I've seen a bunch of JV15 tillers around here but not a 17.

my grandfather had boats way back in the 30's up until his passing in the 70's. they were all 'the night hawk', and he had numbers 1 -3. so 20 yrs ago when i bought my boat i simply named it the 'night hawk IV'
or you could try great family names that you don't have the heart to name your kids in this day and age, but would use on, say, your bird dog. thus, we had milo (grandfather) and now maude (great grandmother).
What make/model/size of boat? inquiring minds want to know and maybe that influences the name choices.
