Enough BS: Let’s start the Mason Graham Heisman hype train a rollin’

We had the first defensive player win Heisman, now we will have first interior lineman Heisman winner. A testament to the value of kicking ass in the trenches.

we need a catchphrase, maybe even a logo

It's not happening.  Only one defensive player ever won (you may have heard of him), and he had to play meaningful snaps on offense and special teams.

Heisman voters are drooling, blithering idiots, almost entirely oblivious to 90% of football.

Put him in at FB and let him rush for 18 TDs, while catching 2 TDs

will get him to NY for the ceremony, especially with his 13 sacks, 17 TFL, 4 FF, 3 FR, and 2 INTs

Call him Mr. Rose, The Grahamdaddy of em all

I support this. He might be the best player in college. Sure, he won’t have the stats, but ask every OC on schedule the player they are most concerned about.

it’s him

Woodson only won the Heisman because he had significant snaps on offense in addition to his ST play. If he had played *only* on defense Manning would have won the Heisman.

Hard to envision Graham getting any time on offense or returning punts.

I’m not saying this makes sense—excluding purely defensive players from the Heisman is dumb—but it’s reality.

Either way he’s my heisman winner! I’ve been singing that big SOB’s praise since last season and catch myself watching his first move on every play. He’s become unblockable even with a double team. There’s gonna be no way for a team to pick their poison between him and Grant.

Love Graham.

But two of my favorite plays from last season were from Kenneth Grant. The rundown against PSU and the bull rush against Washington.

Dline players are usually my favorite players. Love a good defensive team.

Nope.... Love Mason... but this is THE DON's year.....

He's going to be richly rewarded for biding his time in Blake's shadow.

Don is going to make a habit of ripping off 20+ yard TD scampers and is going to get nearly as many receiving TD's catching the ball out of the backfield.

Mark my words!    Edwards for Heisman!

The problem is that he may split the vote with Kenneth Grant after KG runs down another RB then becomes one ala The Fridge.
