What’s the best way to track Saturday scores?
I generally just keep an ESPN tab up with All D-1 so I can check scores and click into a game for specific details as desired. But, I no longer want to give them clicks. So what do you all use for tracking scores? Something that has the option to dive into box scores/team stats is important. A “gamecast” type feature would be nice too, but that’s just a nice to have.

The score

I use the Score app as well. Have for years.

I like and the The Score as well. Great alternative to the 4-letter network that shall not be named.
The only drawback is their standings do not update in real time and can be a real mess on gameday.

TheScore app. Been great for college and pro sports.

Yahoo sports app or cbs sports app

Yahoo Sports app here, too. I have no idea if it's the best one out there, but have liked it enough to not need to look further. Handy filters for CFB scores, realtime play-by-play, stats, etc.

I always use the CFB guide (hat tip to M-Dog). Includes channel so helps when you’re flipping around.
Does not allow you to click in each one for a box score though.

Good question and thanks for asking it here. I was doing the same and finding other options less informative and way to navigate. As usual, the mgo team has the answer. TheScore it is.

I've been using the CBS Sports app for years and am quite happy with it. It has a link that shows tweets from team sportswriters, which is very helpful on fantasy Sundays when you're trying to find out why your bellcow RB has touched the ball in an hour.

I too use CBSSports. Their website is pretty solid and runs more smoothly on a phone than anyone else's. It loads quickly and is relatively glitch-free. What more could one ask for?

Pretty much any sports app that isn't ESPN. Fuck them.

Duck Duck Go, search “college football scores.” Can get conference and top 25 views quickly and not give at those fuckers at ESPN any clicks.

https://www.thescore.com Is a pretty decent site, and the app is really good too. Just my opinion though. Been using the app for years.
Cheers, and GO BLUE!

Thanks for posting the Score link. I browsed thru a few pages and then downloaded the Score app, it looks like a very good alternative to BSPN.

Anytime! Always glad to help out when I can.

Another vote for the Score app. Simple interface, one click to pull up all cfb games per day, no annoying ads. I’ve had very little to do with ESPN for years, driven off by annoying personalities.

Mike Jones!
(thanks rob f - after 9 years of lurking I wanted to choose a user name that reflected some inane piece of info I learned on mgoblog. Although tbh I did not check if ‘Justin Feagin’ was taken.)

I use the Yahoo Sports app on my phone mostly.
EDIT: as I scroll up I see a lot of positive reviews for The Score. I took a cursory look at that a while back and also thought it was a nice app but was stuck in my ways enough to not really use it over Yahoo.

If you're just looking for quick scores and are in a place with crappy/slow reception, plaintextsports is a godsend.
Super quick, the barest of 1990s internet bones, easy to navigate.

Yahoo Sports app is my go to. I still use ESPN because I like their drive charts

Is this 1998? Bro

The score app. Can also put favorite teams which will put michigans score at the top for example.

Good question. Also I'l like to be able to choose which game to track if that's available

Yep thanks all. Just tested. Score app is really good for this
