Per Warde Manuel... Big Ten Reprimand Due to Fan Touching Mel Tucker

Per Warde...

“We accept the Big Ten Conference’s findings in full. The conference office’s reprimand of U-M was in response to a fan making physical contact with the MSU coach – which is wholly unacceptable. The offender was quickly identified and swiftly ejected from the Stadium by our Event Team. In addition, to reduce the possibility of future incidents, we proactively implemented changes ahead of our final home game by increasing security personnel in areas around the playing surface. Security and procedural reviews will remain a constant focal point of future event planning and reviews."

It is funny that Michigan got reprimanded for a grown man getting some liquid courage and swatting at a HC as he walked through the dreaded tunnel, but I get the conference not wanting to ignore the incident.  But at this point MSU's fanbase has become fully radicalized so I doubt this will fix anything with them.  It's why at this point I'd prefer Michigan and the conference just skip next year's game at MSU and let them sit through a timeout of sorts because all that's going to happen is those players and their fans are going to be out for blood and there's no upside to Michigan.

The video of the M fan touching Mel is edited to look intentional, but if you see the other portion of the video, it was just an accident and the fan "may have been" just trying to reach down to stretch his arm after a long game, or perhaps congratulate Mel and the coach just took it out of context. We don't really know unless we see the portion of the video that has been suppressed by the Green Wall.....I have seen it on alt.black.helicopters.greenwhite.com and it tells a whole different story.

Besides, if you look closely, Mel was walking "up" the tunnel right into the fan's arm and more or less instigated the whole thing. Why isn't Mel being reprimanded for INTENTIONALLY walking into a fan's arm? The tunnel isn't big enough for him to walk around it?

/S(party) just in case, because.......yeah, someone would.

By the way.......I sell pillows.......anyone want to buy a pillow?

Michigan State fans are delusional. I interacted with one on Twitter (I know, I know) who said that Michigan gets special treatment by the Big Ten and the media. When I asked him to give examples, he said he wouldn't even bother because I wouldn't believe them. I.e., he doesn't have any examples. What a bunch of self-anointed victims. And Izzo's comments were appalling and inaccurate. He couldn't even separate the reprimand for the guy touching Tucker's head and the players assaulting our players with a helmet and whatever else. Why would one university get fined and the other reprimanded? Because the fined university had members of its team assault members of the other team. They represent the university. The reprimanded team didn't do a good enough job providing security as the opposing team's coach walked into the locker room and his head was touched by a fan. How are these two things even remotely the same thing?
