Why are they blowing the first pick?
November 13th, 2022 at 4:24 PM ^
Yeah, usually they wait and blow all their picks on draft day.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:38 PM ^
Not sure. Maybe he bought them an expensive dinner.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:57 PM ^
My favorite thing every year (because Im really not into NFL football) is when the Lions win a few meaningless games to screw themselves out of a top 5 pick, some fans are ecstatic about the win despite screwing draft position and then the draft comes around and those same fans are saying we should trade up…
November 13th, 2022 at 5:42 PM ^
Dude, diehard Lions fans celebrate ANY win. It won't happen too often, lol.
November 13th, 2022 at 8:38 PM ^
And thats fine I guess. Id argue against it, but its fine. The entertainment for me is when the fans that celebrate the meaningless wins then want the GM to trade up into a slot we would have had if we just lost in the first place 🤷🏻♂️
Some jackass is gonna celebrate a win on the final game of the year to drop us from picking #3 to #7 and then tweet constantly about trading up to 3 to pick Anderson. Since I really don’t dont care for the NFL, thats my amusement in March/April.
November 13th, 2022 at 5:42 PM ^
Could be wrong, but Campbell's seat was starting to heat up (Sheila even had to talk to the media to say that she wasn't going to make any moves). Think he needs to top last year at the very least.
November 13th, 2022 at 10:49 PM ^
Keep in mind the Rams are now, what, 3-6?
Lions get their first round pick as well, due to the Stafford trade.
Summary: year 1 of the Stafford trade- bring a Super Bowl to our (former Lions) legendary qb that never had a competent coaching staff or roster around him!!!"
Year 2- now that #9 has a ring, eff the Rams cheer them on to lose because the Meows get a higher 1st round pick..
November 13th, 2022 at 4:04 PM ^
The Lions are why I grew up being a Wolverines fan (and then went to U-M).
November 13th, 2022 at 4:08 PM ^
I grew up in Michigan and live in Chicago. The Bears front office is terrible. Great win for the Lions.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:31 PM ^
Lions front office makes them look good.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:45 PM ^
Bears front office isn't that bad. We've hired the right people to build the right system around Fields.
November 13th, 2022 at 5:34 PM ^
Fields is starting to look pretty good. Which disappoints me as a Lions fan.
November 13th, 2022 at 5:40 PM ^
He's the only offense the Bears have right now. They need some quality OL and WRs to put around Fields
November 13th, 2022 at 4:08 PM ^
Lot of fun watching Hutch dominate this game, we beat up on Justin fields and a great come back win. Lions!!
November 13th, 2022 at 4:09 PM ^
Winning just enough to avoid Stroud? Good plan.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:50 PM ^
Amen.
November 13th, 2022 at 5:44 PM ^
I'm willing to ride with Goff...
November 13th, 2022 at 4:10 PM ^
Back to back wins. Hutch is clutch playmaker.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:12 PM ^
Watching Hutchinson sack fields on that final drive was amazing!
November 13th, 2022 at 4:20 PM ^
Almost felt like I had seen that somewhere before... on a different osu qb but still lol
November 13th, 2022 at 10:53 PM ^
Facts!
Although it's a whole heluva lot harder to sack Fields than Stroud.
I feel I want the Lions to stay farrrr away from Stroud for this reason. He's terrible when facing pressure. Aidan proved this last year.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:22 PM ^
Hutch is starting to make a difference for Lions.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:26 PM ^
That goal line tackle he made where he came from the other side was incredible
November 13th, 2022 at 4:35 PM ^
And the tackle looked like a WWE move
November 13th, 2022 at 4:37 PM ^
Exactly my thought to! Only it was real…
November 13th, 2022 at 4:47 PM ^
He's gotten a lot of criticism but if there was a redraft right now he probably wouldn't drop more than one spot (Sauce)
November 13th, 2022 at 5:43 PM ^
I've not watched a ton of Jacksonville highlights but I've not seen Walker pop as an edge rusher and yet he doesn't seem to get as much scrutiny as Hutchinson.
I agree that Gardner has been great for the Jets.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:15 PM ^
Winning streak!!
November 13th, 2022 at 4:15 PM ^
As a Bears fan ... thank ya!
November 13th, 2022 at 4:27 PM ^
I am sorry for your loss…
November 13th, 2022 at 4:53 PM ^
Have Fields show signs of competency and lose games. That's the goal of this season.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:23 PM ^
I do think Fields is gonna be alright. Good win for the Lions
Also this Buffalo v Minnesota game has the craziest ending I have EVER SEEN
November 13th, 2022 at 4:29 PM ^
Buffalo and Minnesota not over yet.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:24 PM ^
Second place!
November 13th, 2022 at 4:26 PM ^
I don’t care about the Lions or Bears but losing a game in the NFL on a missed extra point is unacceptable.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:26 PM ^
The Buckeye on Buckeye crimes were delicious.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:27 PM ^
If their defense was just average they’d be 6-3 right now. I like how hard they play every game, even down big.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:28 PM ^
The Rams pick might wind up being higher than the Lions pick
November 13th, 2022 at 4:42 PM ^
That is the most subversive thought. Love it!!
November 13th, 2022 at 8:17 PM ^
My hopes that the Rams suck are tempered slightly by the fact that Holmes helped build that team.
But currently the Rams pick is 7th while the Lions own pick is 11th, for those wondering.
November 13th, 2022 at 4:51 PM ^
Speculation that Justin Fields would still be out there, holding onto the ball on fourth down, if the official hadn’t blown it dead!
November 13th, 2022 at 5:30 PM ^
Tigers!
November 13th, 2022 at 5:39 PM ^
Fields is playing better at QB than the start of the year but they've now lost 3 games in which he's averaged around 6.5 ypa, around 150 yards passing, and 65% completion. He's been dynamic running the ball but long-term a guy who struggles throwing downfield isn't going to make it in the league with his legs.
This feels like a bit of false hope for the Bears with Fields. Defenses will adjust to his legs and then we'll see he can mature as a passer because right now it doesn't feel all that sustainable.

Winners of the Bad Owners Bowl, brought to you by the AMC Pacer.
November 13th, 2022 at 7:29 PM ^
LOINS!!!
November 13th, 2022 at 7:49 PM ^
We can’t even lose right. Go down 1-6 and now they decide they want to play/win. Can’t wait for that LB instead of a franchise QB.
November 13th, 2022 at 7:56 PM ^
Draft a QB with 1 of those 1st Rd picks, to learn behind Goff, and the next 2 drafts should be all defense.
November 13th, 2022 at 10:14 PM ^
Alright, win enough to not get a top 10 draft pick but be way out of the wild card hunt.
November 14th, 2022 at 6:47 AM ^
Super Bowl.
