Season ending injury - offense
If it is not proper protocol to share not-yet-confirmed information regarding a player injury, please consider this a lesson learned for me. But I figure the community may find this relevant. Again: the injury to an offensive player is confirmed, but the identity is, as of now, not yet.
Via one of the paid sites, it appears that a player from the offense is now being ruled out for the season. The reporter was not permitted to confirm the name, but from the hints, the community seems to agree that it is Eric All who is afflicted.
Regardless of who it is, this is deeply sad to hear we have already lost a player for the season. It seems we are being hit hard on injuries - Cade, Edwards, NHG, various O-lineman, etc… - for the season being so young.
Best wishes to the afflicted player.

The fuck is this?

It's Dom Giudice

This was my favorite line: “ Again: the injury to an offensive player is confirmed, but the identity is, as of now, not yet”
September 23rd, 2022 at 11:02 AM ^
Yeah but It’s still a good sign that as we speak, the program’s confirming of said injury, as it stands, has not.
September 21st, 2022 at 10:33 PM ^
Can you share who said reporter is?
September 21st, 2022 at 10:35 PM ^
It’s Josh Henshke.
He said he could not confirm the player name but he ruled out a few ; it’s not a QB or a running back and a few lineman have been ruled out. The community on the boards is saying the context clues point to it being All, and Josh suggested that those desperate for an answer can find it from those sleuthing about other sources. Apparently it’s around on Twitter and FB. (For whatever that’s worth)

I don't even remember All getting hurt. Did he leave the game?
September 21st, 2022 at 10:47 PM ^
Could of been at practice. I know he went out to Hopcat after the game this past weekend with his family. Didn't appear injured there.
September 21st, 2022 at 11:30 PM ^
It is "could have" or "could've."
Pet peeve, sorry.
September 21st, 2022 at 11:49 PM ^
I respect grammar and pet peeves even more so, so +1. For some reason I got negged recently for politely pointing out an incorrect whom vs who usage.
September 22nd, 2022 at 7:10 AM ^
from whom did you you receive the neg?
September 22nd, 2022 at 8:24 AM ^
i'll tell you who
September 22nd, 2022 at 11:23 PM ^
Mike Jones!
September 22nd, 2022 at 11:16 AM ^
That's mind-bottling. Whoever negged you is obviously a moran.
September 22nd, 2022 at 1:59 PM ^
What's there problem!
September 22nd, 2022 at 7:10 AM ^
Or even "coulda," if you're trying to show a correct representation of someone's speech, as in, "I coulda been a contenduh."
September 22nd, 2022 at 11:33 AM ^
I will accept "coulda" any day because finding and typing the contraction (') can be a problem for some. I am pretty lenient. But I cannot deal with "could of" or "should of". That's just bad, bad, bad. If you have the time to type the space and the two letters "of" then you have the time to type the space and the four letters "have".
September 22nd, 2022 at 8:07 AM ^
Apparently you didn't realize that I identify as someone who always uses proper grammar.
September 22nd, 2022 at 11:19 AM ^
Absolutely
September 21st, 2022 at 10:49 PM ^
Apparently it’s been a nagging one. Would explain why he hasn’t really had any stats and less play time.
it was said he could play through it or sit out for surgery. But that he wouldn’t likely use his redshirt and would go straight to draft. This and other clues suggest it’s All, according to the community. Regrettably the injury to an offensive starter is confirmed, however; That is is All is NOT confirmed, but that seems to be what the consensus is

I do remember I think during the Hawaii game that the sideline reporter said he was in the medical tent and they showed him on the bike after. It could (of) have been last weeks game, brains a little fuzzy this morning.

I hate mysterious news and bad news and most of all, mysterious bad news
September 22nd, 2022 at 12:08 PM ^
I believe it is better to be informed than not to know. And I am saddened that "unconfimed player" has suffered an alleged season-ending injury. I had such high hopes for him playing well at his position this year.

Gonna go ahead and neg on this one. Boxed chardonnay will be the highlight of the rest of my evening. Ni-night Wolverines.

Garbage wine tastes exactly like regular wine after the 2nd one and you cannot convince me otherwise
September 21st, 2022 at 11:03 PM ^
My hangover knows the difference.
September 21st, 2022 at 11:59 PM ^
Clearly, you have not drunk garbage wine out of the bodegas of Barcelona and Valencia, because often it tastes much BETTER than cheap American wine even after the fourth or fifth glass. Yeah, it's been a good five years now, but I have seen and tasted these miracles with my own eyes and tongue.
September 22nd, 2022 at 7:53 AM ^
Is this supposed to be a humble brag? You're basically saying that "garbage wine" is Barcelona is not garbage? I don't get it. Do you mean that not all cheap wine is garbage?
The guy said that crappy wine gives you a hangover, and you're not really disproving that by talking about your worldly escapades.
September 22nd, 2022 at 11:18 AM ^
Zero brag here. I had a friend who moved to Calahonda in southern Spain many years ago so I could visit on the cheap. The boxes of wine that cost less than a 2 liter of Coke were very, very good. For the price I was paying for Thunderbird in Detroit, and the massive headaches it induced, I was getting good stuff in Spain.
I think taxes are part of the reason, but I may be wrong.
September 22nd, 2022 at 1:59 PM ^
It is taxes, partially, but way more than that too.
1) Re: taxes: American alcohol products face luxury/vice taxes that European markets consider to be taxed at grocery rates.
2) France/Italy/Spain are the 3 largest wine producing countries in the world (US is #4), so by the simple rules of supply and demand (even accounting for a relatively higher wine consumption compared with the US), and being close to the production (reduced transportation costs), "cheap" wine from these countries tends to be of a fairly decent quality.
3) And the big one: whereas most US winemakers are first generation, meaning they have a mortgage to pay for, and considering something like 90% of US wine production comes from California, where land is by no means affordable, "cheap" US wine tends to be mass market/industrial wine (think 2 buck chuck or carlo rossi jugs)- compare with most European wineries, where the land has been passed down generation to generation, with no mortgage to pay, "cheap" wines from these European wineries also tend to be of good quality compared to their cost.
Often times in Europe, you can just take a 5-gallon jug down to your grape farmer neighbor or down to your local villages cooperative to fill up when you need. It's just a totally different market and culture

Read an article once that talked about how to order wine on a date when you don't know shit about wine and are broke. Basically read:
First bottle: Order the second cheapest red on the menu, unless it's seafood and go white.
Second Bottle: If she wants to order a second bottle, get the cheapest or table wine. She won't notice.
Third Bottle: If you've made it this far, get a cab, get it corked, and take her home. Who cares what kind it is.
September 22nd, 2022 at 4:06 PM ^
From the wine bar/restaurant (at least, a reputable one, anyways) side of things: go ahead and order that cheapest bottle. It's on the menu for a reason, the whole second cheapest bottle thing is a myth, unless you're purely wanting to play that vanity game. Wine isn't cheap (compared to other imbibing beverages), so don't feel like you have to spend more to impress when that most affordable bottle should be just as good as that second most affordable and finances are a concern. Also, if you're getting 2 glasses of wine, consider straight up buying the bottle, it'll be more affordable compared to a by-the-glass offering if you're planning on having more than one drink each, and depending on which state you live in, you may be able to take the rest of the bottle home if you don't finish it.

Helpful info. +1.

I could write a shorter article, "Don't order wine then."
September 21st, 2022 at 10:49 PM ^
Twitter sleuthing. Says Mackey award winner 2022. will be Schnoomaker.
However, another says he was playing hurt and is getting surgery to preserve the red shirt
Which does not make sense for All
So good luck reading tea leaves

September 21st, 2022 at 11:03 PM ^
Dom Giudice is probably out for the season, according to Harbaugh. Also, Grant Newsome did a press availability today in which he gave no indication that Erick All was out.
September 22nd, 2022 at 12:29 AM ^
Sucks for Dom but if that is who this mystery is about the OP is going to look pretty silly.

I haven't seen Giudice play... how did he look when he did ? Anyway, I hope he returns. Loved his recruit video he made imitating the karate kid with his hands, wax on, wax off.
September 22nd, 2022 at 10:35 AM ^
I never noticed him but he switched to offensive line and Harbaugh said he never has seen a player transition so fast.
September 22nd, 2022 at 11:52 AM ^
Just checked the googles and the top links were about his switch to offense and how Harbaugh loves this guy. No reported ouchies or boo-boos.
September 22nd, 2022 at 11:47 AM ^
That is interesting and he was asked directly about All. I know the question was about fatherhood, but it is a conscious omission if it turns out to be true.
September 22nd, 2022 at 5:46 PM ^
If nothings confirmed at this point why would Coach Newsome bring it up.
