they are suppose to be here in Traverse City Monday... and going to TCC High school if anyone is in the area and wants to see them
Is there a place where we can find details? I can't seem to find anything about times.
This has to be good for recruiting.
I saw their bus and semi downtown GR last night. Figured they must be in town!
I wish I was home I could've walked to practice and enjoyed a play or two.
Go Blue and Go Blue!
I love the concept. Does anyone know if the players are enjoying it or seeing it as a burden? I hope it is a positive experience for everyone, but I can see how it could be a bit of a drag for some.
Angelique on Sam's show seems to think that players are enjoying it. She definitely seems to enjoy it. I heard she made Harbaugh dunk in the water? I have to find that video. Hope there is a video. some of the player statements made it sound like a great experience.
I probably could have shortened it. This is my first link attaching in MGoBlog. Hope it works.
Bones - I’m sure it will be like anything in life. Some will LOVE it. Some will HATE it and some will tolerate it!
Hopefully we don’t see a tweet from someone who hates it turned into a “news” article about Harbaugh!
i mean who would even do that amirite
...

Thanks for sharing. I'm wondering how this works given that the fall practice season hasn't started. Are the coaches there or are these just player-led exercises?
Toured President Ford museum in GR yesterday, went Fowling last night, practice at EGR high school this morning, then on the Lake Michigan beach this afternoon ( Muskegon)
The trips have been one of my favorite aspects of Harbaugh's tenure. I hope they continue in future years. Giving them a chance to see more of the world beyond the football field ... how many other programs do this? This is - seriously - the Michigan difference.
Harbaugh acts like these are students with a world to learn about. Can’t he see these are just chess pieces on a football field?

I feel the same, JM.
totally agree. said this on another thread, but “transformational” is a real thing.
100%. Harbaugh has been delivering transformational (and unique) experiences to his players since he's been here, and yet so many people acted like this was pure marketing speak. The concept -- and practice -- of transformation is obviously something important to Harbaugh and meaningful to his players, and Michigan Football does that better than any other program I can think of.
Oh man, that's cool. Normally my wife and I go for a Saturday morning drive with our one-year old, and typically we end up driving past EGR High. No drive today, though, as I caught COVID and have been home-bound since yesterday.
Feel better soon!
What kind of "practices" are these? I'm out of touch...
Damn, I live a mile away. Would have gone.
Great experience, players were uniformly friendly and receptive to comments and encouraging words. We got pics of my son (named Caden) with Corum and McNamara. The latter’s reply to my son telling him, “My name is Cade too”, was “That’s a great name!”
They were at Pere Marquette beach in Muskegon this afternoon.
I wish I had known! I was at Hoffmaster Park. (A few miles south of Pere Marquette.) it was a near perfect day at the beach. Water was warm (at least 70 maybe even 72).
