Hello: K Stone Anderson
This is not the Hello post I expected.
He’s likely a PWO commit but no confirmation found anywhere. Rated as a 4.5 star on Kohls kicking. I’m a bit surprised we’re taking 2 specialists but considering that we’re likely losing both Moody and Robbins after this year, I guess it’s important to restock the kicking core
Agree. And I'll throw in I don't think enough Michigan fans realize how fortunate we are to have a punter and kicker of the caliber of Robbins and Moody at the same time. Both are right there as being the best ever at their position at Michigan. Robbins had the 2nd highest punt average ever for a season at 46.3. And Moody won the Groza award. Kind of baffling to me they came back despite obvious NFL potential, but I'm really happy they did.
Underrated comment
Yeah, great special teams always feels like insurance - you never think about them until you need them and then you're really happy you didn't scrimp on it.
Could be NIL and getting a degree.
Maybe Brad Robbins came back so he can try and move up to #! in career yards punting by someone named Robbins or have longest punt for Michigan by someone named Robbins.
He still trails Monte Robbins (1984-87) in total punting yards and for longest punt - 82 yards.
I remember watching that game @Hawai'i. That kick was about 35-40 yards in the air, and the rest was an incredible roll.
We have the number one kicker in the country already committed in Samaha, so let’s run spread kickers. #KickersInSpace
#KickersInSpace!!!
Fucking lost it
Thank you for this.
I think my father in law actually suggested this as a strategy while we were watching a random game: "HOW BOUT TWO KICKERS?! IT'LL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO BLOCK A KICK CUZ THEY WON'T KNOW WHO TO ATTACK!!"
Sounds like an intent to deceive.
He can kick field goals while blocking Michael Jordan’s shot? That is a definite take in my opinion.
I lost it on this one.
this is michigan fergodsakes
he was probably called for a flagrant
Move over Bo Jackson!
Those summer nights are callin... Stone in love
When I saw his name I started humming the Night Court theme.
This is totally the ironic nut tap after today's neverending recruiting conversation.
Mr. Anderson... we've had our eye on you for some time.
Ah..The old onside kick with the righty faking it and the lefty kicking it.
Brilliant.
Stone-cold Anderson...he's got ice water in his veins and never misses.
I see that Brandon Inniss committed to OSU, which is odd since GOJ implied we were leading for him.
Hartline is killing it. Seems like OSU is going to have 3 5-stars at WR on the field for the forseeable future.
Beat them anyway.
We've beaten them twice in the last two decades. I would like to do it slightly more often than that and that is hard to do if they are consistently the more talented team. Recruiting matters a lot. Pretending like it doesn't because last year was awesome doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
To be fair.........
I am pretty sure all he said DR was all over the recruitment of the 5* FLL receiver.
To be accurate…
this is exactly what he posted:
”Shoelace working hard on 5* WR out of FLL, sounds like we are out in front.”
How in hell can you interpret “sounds like we are out in front” as meaning anything other than we are leading for him?
no relation to keith stone
Looking forward to announcer getting reprimanded for saying "he has stones" after a long, game-winning FG.
Great football name! I assume he is committing as a PWO?
Sounds like we recruited a law firm to handle our kicking game.
