His voice work in Aladdin is legendary. RIP
Severely underrated comedian.
Not by those who knew his work.
By, God, OP, if you can't even bother to spell his name correctly you shouldn't be posting this.
Read this post in his voice. RIP.
Hilariously annoying voice. I did not know he was the Aflac duck.
I didn’t know he was that old!
What a unique voice and great delivery. RIP
Definitely a one-of-a-kind voice and style. I was born in the 80's, and the voices of Gilbert Gottfried and Bobcat Goldthwait are forever etched in my mind.
Bobcat is a regular on NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. Hear his voice every couple of weeks.
Wow - I was JUST listening to his "amazing colossal podcast" interview with Bob Costas - not everyone's cup of tea but I found him funny
My favorite joke of his:
"If masturbation was a crime, I should be on death row."
I like this one(From The Roast of Roseanne Barr):
A drunken farmer stumbles up the stairs and into his bedroom, waking his wife Roseanne. She sits up to see her husband holding a sheep under his arm. The farmer yells "Look, this is the pig I've been fucking!" Roseanne says, "You idiot, that's not a pig, it's a sheep!" The farmer looks at her and yells, "Shut the fuck up, I was talking to the sheep!"

And he was a total legend, completely underrated, incredibly funny. RIP, indeed.
Sorry I'm an idiot
Nah, you’re not. Mistakes happen, content of your post is far more important than a spelling error.
Man with 5 penises goes to the doctor.
Doctor says my god, how do your pants fit?
Man responds, like a glove.
One of many Gottfried one-times. Very underrated, and clever comedian. Too soon. RIP
In a world full of James Gordon's, be a Gilbert Gottfried.
Was just listening to him on a podcast driving home yesterday. Did not know he had been battling an illness but happy to know his last days were filled with what he loved; talking and participating in classic comedy.
well shit that's sad. RIP.
his real voice (when there was no microphone) was surprisingly calm and soothing.
I once heard him do a hilarious impression of Jerry Seinfeld with the smooth version of his voice.
Two words: The Aristocrats
One word: Rozilla!
He wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but he certainly was my dad's. I actually got him a birthday greeting with GG on Cameo last May, and he said it was his favorite gift of his life.
The Aflac duck was never the same after he got dropped
OMG! It's like people were waiting for Gilbert Godfrey to die! I just saw that news and hopped on to MgoBlog knowing it had already been posted.
RIP Gilbert...
No. No. No.... *picks up phone* BITCH!
Wait a second, I have an idea... is there something that I have in this office that I could give to you....
This hand you'd be concentrating on... that hand "what? what do I even have there."
Great scene in a great movie!
That sucks. He was great in bumping mics. He will be missed
A great clip of his was from Hollywood Squares when a match (dubbed the "YOU FOOL!" episode) came down to him and he kept stumping the contestants. By the time one of them won his square, the episode was practically over. RIP.
Beat you by a couple minutes. Like minds.
Yours is easier to watch.
Who would have thought 8 months ago that 3 of 4 guys on this pic would be dead within a year? It's fucked up. Nobody even knew they were sick.
Also Jeff Ross must be feeling like he's got a target on his back or something at this point.
Another tragic death that preys upon my nostalgia... Gilbert Gottfried was so criminally underrated

He was the first famous person I recognized on the street when I moved to NYC (not relevant to anything but had nowhere else to share...)
Dont forget his work in Beverly Hills Cop. Superb performance. RIP Gilbert.
RIP Gilbert.
Highly underrated. Loved him as Johnny Crunch in The Adventures of Ford Fairlaine with Andrew Dice Clay.
I can't believe he wont be around anymore just to piss me off. Here's to you Johnny, sucking my dick.

Rest in peace, Sidney Bernstein.
During the height of the pandemic, I discovered Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast.
Among the hundreds of episodes from Dick Cavett in the first episode through the recent celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Godfather and what, sadly, might be the final entry, an encore of the Bob Costas episode, there are thousands of laughs and lots of interesting information.

I grew up in NYC and used to go to the comedy clubs a lot. I was lucky enough to have seen him perform several times. He was fucking hilarious and not yet famous. I followed his entire career after that and was so glad to see him succeed.
RIP
