Up 6-5 early
January 24th, 2022 at 6:10 PM ^
All Naz early.
January 24th, 2022 at 6:11 PM ^
Maryland has had a stranglehold on the big ten ever since they joined, but already have 3 conference losses (one a blowout to Michigan in college park). If there was ever a year for Michigan to break through and win its first big ten title in women's basketball, this is it. The team has it all going right now.
January 24th, 2022 at 6:21 PM ^
Pretty hot start for both teams. Naz Hillmon ..errrr.. Michigan up 19-16 after 1 quarter.
Naz with 15 points.
January 24th, 2022 at 6:22 PM ^
So 15 for Naz in the first quarter. She...probably needs some help? But maybe not?
January 24th, 2022 at 6:33 PM ^
Leigha Brown providing that help in the second.
January 24th, 2022 at 6:27 PM ^
Purdue seems more athletic than some of the other teams we play..
January 24th, 2022 at 6:37 PM ^
That looked like a flop
January 24th, 2022 at 6:42 PM ^
Lot of early threes, which is not our game.
January 24th, 2022 at 6:43 PM ^
Naz is now being doubled off the ball.
January 24th, 2022 at 6:45 PM ^
38-31 Michigan at the half
January 24th, 2022 at 7:05 PM ^
Naz= 9/9
missing bunnies though, only up 2 now
January 24th, 2022 at 7:07 PM ^
Does everyone named Moore have to play for Purdue????
January 24th, 2022 at 7:09 PM ^
Just noticed #1 womens gymnastics follows this on BTN, vs Minnesota
January 24th, 2022 at 7:14 PM ^
Go Blue, beat dem boilermakers ??
January 24th, 2022 at 7:20 PM ^
Tough 3rd quarter but we extend the lead to 59-50.
January 24th, 2022 at 7:25 PM ^
Kiser has really struggled in this game. :(
January 24th, 2022 at 8:21 PM ^
Double Double
January 24th, 2022 at 7:27 PM ^
At one point Naz had 20 pts on. Wait for it.
9 shots
you done broke math Naz!
January 24th, 2022 at 7:43 PM ^
And she does it without shooting 3's.
January 24th, 2022 at 7:32 PM ^
Phelia is already an incredible defender.
January 24th, 2022 at 7:34 PM ^
She was a four star recruit and looks every bit of it.
January 24th, 2022 at 7:33 PM ^
We're starting to pull away - a few years back we cratered in a game like this. I think it was against Purdue.
January 24th, 2022 at 7:39 PM ^
Naz is just too strong. It's kind of unfair.
January 24th, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
Loving our Lady Wolverines, looking good tonight against a pesky team, Go Blue!
January 24th, 2022 at 7:48 PM ^
Hail to the Victors!! 79-66 Final.
It was a hard fought game that smelled like a trap from the get go.
January 24th, 2022 at 7:48 PM ^
Purdue played pretty well but we have too much size/talent. That's a weird thing to say about Michigan women's basketball but definitely true.
January 24th, 2022 at 7:51 PM ^
Meeeechigan wins!!!!!
Next game vs osu in columbus Thursday @ 6pm on BTN.
Go Blue ???
January 25th, 2022 at 6:44 AM ^
Who would have ever predicted that Michigan's women's basketball team would be ranked ahead of UCon? Great job, ladies.
January 25th, 2022 at 12:27 PM ^
No one in CT would have predicted this. Here in CT Women's basketball ranks much higher in viewer interest than college football. Gino Armano is considered a deity.
January 25th, 2022 at 8:47 AM ^
we're clearly a Women's Basketball School
January 25th, 2022 at 9:04 AM ^
I’ll keep pumping my promo for women’s hoops — they are the best value in Michigan sports. It only costs $50 for a season ticket to watch our top ten team, and you get free parking very close to the entrance at Crisler!
January 25th, 2022 at 10:13 AM ^
I see 15 home games. Why only 50 dollars for the entire season?
January 25th, 2022 at 6:53 PM ^
Low demand.
January 25th, 2022 at 10:48 AM ^
cosign. my years as a season-ticket holder coincide exactly with the career of one naz hillmon, and while i'm sure part of my enjoyment has something to do with the fact that i've gotten to watch NMFH, the value has been spectacular. $100 for two season tickets, halfway up the lower bowl, free parking, watching great hoops.
if you don't want to spring for season tickets, just go to one. you'll be glad you did.
four home games left, all of them huge:
- 1/31 vs #6 indiana (for first place, potentially)
- 2/6 vs #23 iowa (caitlin clark is a spectular scorer, and the iowa women are every bit the no-defense outfit as the iowa men)
- 2/20 vs #17 maryland (maryland has had a stranglehold on the conference since joining - struggling recently but super-talented and tough)
- 2/24 vs sparty (senior night for the best class in program history)
GO.
