How did this Illinois team beat Nebraska. Wow, and where is Peters? Is he out for the year?
September 11th, 2021 at 12:30 PM ^
I read that it was a game time decision to play Sitkowski so I guess he’s not out for the year.
September 11th, 2021 at 11:17 AM ^
Gameday fans are ROASTING Ashton Kutcher this morning.
Between the signs and “TAKE A SHOWER!!” clap clap clap-clap-clap.
September 11th, 2021 at 11:21 AM ^
14-0 Virginia now.
Illinois with a very cavalier approach to defense here (note what I did there).
September 11th, 2021 at 3:15 PM ^
Noted and you were very Cavalier about it
September 11th, 2021 at 3:25 PM ^
You don’t tell people you just tried to make a funny
you just do it
September 11th, 2021 at 12:09 PM ^
New year, same officials. o$u already getting away with holding.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:10 PM ^
MOMS: any chance to edit the OP to "Early Games"? No need for more threads.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:12 PM ^
Ducks hold!
September 11th, 2021 at 12:12 PM ^
Is this supposed to be the early games open thread?
Cautiously optimistic that OSU didn't hit the qb lotto this time.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:13 PM ^
Corso showing the ISU fans the Cy-Hawk trophy “because they haven’t seen it in a while.” Hilarious!
September 11th, 2021 at 12:16 PM ^
Wow, I hope their run D is like this against us.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:16 PM ^
Oregon has the speed to attack the outside. I just don’t think they can hold up on D.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:17 PM ^
Whoa. Milton just threw an accurate deep ball. Traveled about 65 yards.
WR dropped it but still.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:19 PM ^
It was a perfect throw.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:21 PM ^
Aaand on the next play, he sails one to Tacopants.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:28 PM ^
Been watching the last two drives - he's overthrown 4 potential TDs
September 11th, 2021 at 12:17 PM ^
Where's the taunting call? Oh yeah... that's right.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:18 PM ^
Oregon's QB is terrible. They need to run more to open up the pass.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:21 PM ^
Ohio secondary is young and suspect
September 11th, 2021 at 12:20 PM ^
Ducks looking good on the OL O DL not so much
September 11th, 2021 at 12:22 PM ^
They just said Milton had a broken thumb all last year.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:23 PM ^
Oregon DBs giving too much space early
September 11th, 2021 at 12:28 PM ^
The CB just stood still and watched Olave catch the ball. Confusing.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:28 PM ^
Milton overthrowing everybody early on. Nothing new there
September 11th, 2021 at 12:31 PM ^
That's his superpower.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:35 PM ^
Watch him throw a football over them mountains...
"Rockytop you'll always be
Overthrown by meeeeee...."
September 11th, 2021 at 12:33 PM ^
But he can throw a 10 yard out
September 11th, 2021 at 12:29 PM ^
MSU highlight of a TD on a flea flicker. Studio announcer: “Not sure why they pull out a flea flicker early on against Youngstown State.”
September 11th, 2021 at 12:30 PM ^
I think that's 2 weeks in a row Sparty scored on the first play of the game
September 11th, 2021 at 12:47 PM ^
Double post!
September 11th, 2021 at 3:32 PM ^
What a silly comment. Their RB went for almost 300 yards last week including a 75-yard TD run on the first play of the game. A flea flicker is a pretty smart play there, and it resulted in a 75-yard TD pass on the first play of the game........
September 11th, 2021 at 5:34 PM ^
Smart play in that it’s likely to work, yes. But it’s Youngstown State. I’d assume the announcer was referring to the fact that Youngstown State isn’t really the type of team you’d break out a play like that against. Maybe save it for Miami
September 11th, 2021 at 12:29 PM ^
A o$u WR never goes down that easy against M.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:30 PM ^
The way he slowed down before the sideline, he was just asking to be hit.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:31 PM ^
Oregon can't get off the field on 3rd down
September 11th, 2021 at 12:31 PM ^
Aaaaaand Milton throws to Tacopants with a guy so wide open he could have walked in.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:31 PM ^
Milton overthrowing everything. Wide open receivers.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:31 PM ^
It's just criminal how much Milton is overthrowing his receivers. I've seen at least two potential walk in TDs so far.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:34 PM ^
That last one was absolutely horrible. He was wide open and Milton missed him by at least 5 yards
September 11th, 2021 at 12:31 PM ^
And the Vols fans are already fed up with Milton. Boo birds are out
September 11th, 2021 at 12:32 PM ^
Some grumblings and even some boos from the crowd halfway through the first quarter in Tennessee. Milton overthrowing multiple wide-open receivers.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:32 PM ^
Jesus Milton just chucking bombs to Taco Pants.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:36 PM ^
How Harbaugh thought Milton was better than Cade, I will never understand.
September 11th, 2021 at 5:01 PM ^
Maybe Milton doesn’t overthrow receivers in practice?
Q - How did UM not know Desmond Howard was a Heisman Trophy caliber player? Derrick Alexander was supposed the be #1 WR that year.
A-He didn’t do the extra special things in practice.
Sometimes you just need to see a player under game conditions.
(shrugs)
September 11th, 2021 at 12:37 PM ^
OSU looks mortal with Stroud as QB.
September 11th, 2021 at 12:39 PM ^
The year is young.....sigh
September 11th, 2021 at 12:43 PM ^
Very true and I’m sure he’ll get much better. With Coombs as DC I don’t think they’ll improve on that side of the ball much.
September 11th, 2021 at 1:12 PM ^
I think people said that the first half last week and then they blasted Minny in the 2nd half and Stroud threw 4 tds...
September 11th, 2021 at 2:04 PM ^
Minny also put a lot of points up on them as well
