Wild Comeback POS Bang
February 26th, 2014 at 10:29 PM ^
I think that is word for word what I said, followed by something entirely incoherent.
February 26th, 2014 at 9:23 PM ^
Wooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
February 26th, 2014 at 9:23 PM ^
Not to be a debbie-downer, but if we don't shake this trend of slow starts, we're prone for an early exit in the tourney.
But on the positive side! Fuck yes!!!!!!!
Glenn was awesome!!! Maybe this is the game that gets him going!!!!!

Let the alcohol flow!!!!!!

AND JUST LIKE THAT GR3 IS READY FOR THE NBA!!!!! WOOO BIG DOG!!!!

The play call
February 26th, 2014 at 9:23 PM ^
For the bang
February 26th, 2014 at 9:23 PM ^
February 26th, 2014 at 9:23 PM ^
Coming back from down 19 and winning by 1 is like winning by 20, so Michigan totally covered the spread.
February 26th, 2014 at 9:24 PM ^
AND JUST LIKE THAT GR3 IS READY FOR THE NBA!!!!! WOOO BIG DOG!!!!
February 26th, 2014 at 9:24 PM ^
Holy cow.
February 26th, 2014 at 9:24 PM ^
I'll take any medicine I need to for my little tantrum in the 1st half, but that finish was absurd.
Posbang for everyone indeed.

12-3 in the Big Ten! Go Blue!
February 26th, 2014 at 9:25 PM ^
Holy crap! I'm still shaking.
I'm pretty sure the last time Michigan won on a buzzer beater was during the Ellerbe years. It was a game against Minnesota but the team was awful and the game was meaningless in the end.
But this? I'm at a loss for words.
February 26th, 2014 at 9:25 PM ^
Damn Purdue's first missed FT couldn't have come at a better time
February 27th, 2014 at 7:45 AM ^
if we had shot a normal FT % during the game, we win by 6-8 points.
February 27th, 2014 at 10:24 AM ^
Yeah, FT continues to be an issue for this team...although they did make the final 6 FTs in the final 3 minutes in regulation, the time when it mattered the most (no FT taken in overtime).
February 26th, 2014 at 9:26 PM ^
I thought it was rolling out. That was amazing.
February 26th, 2014 at 9:26 PM ^
That was insanity! I still can't believe that happened.
Now bang me.
February 26th, 2014 at 9:26 PM ^
I'm quite certain my neighbors think I was murdered.
February 26th, 2014 at 10:27 PM ^
More like my neighbors want to murder me. I think they are extremely tired of hearing the word YES, mixed in with various expletives.
February 26th, 2014 at 9:26 PM ^
Thanks to an OT cloaking device Jordan Morgan with a double-double!
February 26th, 2014 at 9:27 PM ^
That game was not good for my back nor my blood pressure and I had to take an extra Naproxen when I finally stopped jumping in the air on that last shot, but all the same....
February 26th, 2014 at 10:26 PM ^
Your stomach must be a freaking mess. That game and naproxen is not an easy mix on the gut.

Someone settle an argument:
Muppets? I say no, because it's Purdue. Brother says yes, because buzzer beater after being down 19.
February 26th, 2014 at 9:55 PM ^
Muppets aren't just for amazing games, they should be meaningful wins as well. This keeps Michigan in the driver's seat for the Big Ten Championship, but it doesn't clinch it, or even a share.
February 26th, 2014 at 10:04 PM ^
I'm with you. Still an incredible finish!!!!
February 26th, 2014 at 9:27 PM ^
Welp.
That ... was a bit lucky.
February 26th, 2014 at 9:51 PM ^
I'm getting your shtick... You only say negative things; even when the most awesome thing ever happens.
February 27th, 2014 at 7:48 AM ^
"shtick" is short for "shit stick", which he beats everything with.

Pepper needs new shorts!
February 26th, 2014 at 9:28 PM ^
... what I just saw!" (said in the voice of Vin Scully)
No, really. I can't believe that shot went in from that angle. Over the defender (who may have gotten the smallest of pieces? Couldn't tell). Very tough shot, despite it's proximity to the hoop.
Bullet dodged. Happiness gratefully accepted.

I was sure that layup was gonna roll off after Stauskas missed all those layups. It didn't!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!
February 26th, 2014 at 9:28 PM ^
February 26th, 2014 at 9:29 PM ^
Me and the misses as GRIII's shot hung, hung, hung on the rim and then fell...
February 26th, 2014 at 9:59 PM ^
This would be funnier with sound. Hilarious scene.
February 26th, 2014 at 9:29 PM ^
awesome game... I think we benefited from some calls, but what a game!
jdon
February 26th, 2014 at 11:51 PM ^
Honest question - can you name some of the calls you think we got?
I definitely felt the whistle was pro-Purdue. They got away with a ton of contact on our drives to the hoop - every one of those was at least 50/50 for a foul call.
Are you talking about Nik getting fouled going for the loose ball? 1) Spike ended up with the ball, anyway, so it's not like it changed possession, 2) one of the Johnson's absolutely plowed into him and 3) Nik certainly sold it well when he took the hit.
Bardo is an unnaturally thin-faced dumbass and I thought he needed to shut the hell up frequently.
Are you referring to Hammons 5th foul? That's a foul. 100 times out of 100. He ran over GRIII. Easy call.
So can you detail some of the calls you are referring to?
February 27th, 2014 at 7:44 AM ^
While the refs weren't calling ANYTHING that was happening to Stauskus, there was also a lot going on under the Purdue basket that they weren't calling, either. There was plenty of opportunity for them to completely screw Michigan.
