Penn State Schadenfreude (loss to Iowa puts them at 0-5)
5th Big Ten loss in one season is most since Joe Pa went 2-6 in conference in 2004 (4-7 overall). Kinda pisses me off that Michigan's terrible season gets so much talk on national sports programs but I've barely heard mention of the Penn State debacle. Goes with our profile I guess.

Penn State has Michigan and Michigan State left on their schedule. They will not go winless.
November 21st, 2020 at 7:27 PM ^
And Rutgers. Fierce battle for the bottom spot.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:29 PM ^
Michigan will give them the first win of the season because of course

Something is going on behind the scenes that we're not hearing about. That team is just horrible and looks like they've quit.

Us or them?
November 21st, 2020 at 8:12 PM ^
Seriously? Have you seen Michigan lately?
November 21st, 2020 at 7:28 PM ^
Fantastic - misery loves company. 0-5 could not happen to a more worthy program!
November 21st, 2020 at 7:31 PM ^
Let’s hold off on the schadenfreude until they go 0-6.
November 21st, 2020 at 7:32 PM ^
There is no guarantee that we beat them , so dont get too happy just yet . Just beat Rutger, then we can look to PSU .
November 21st, 2020 at 7:33 PM ^
Everyone hates us. 60k apply to attend Michigan each year and 54k get rejected. That is a lot of hate over 20 years ... like over 1 million people.
November 21st, 2020 at 7:33 PM ^
First time in school history to start 0-5.
November 21st, 2020 at 7:37 PM ^
At best, the combined records of M and PSU will be 2-8 next week. That would have been unfathomable before the season. What a weird year.
November 21st, 2020 at 7:39 PM ^
The Big Ten's upside down, except for the Big Ten's SEC team.

OSU hasn't really had a great season by their standards, either. Didn't exactly blow out Rutgers at home, decently tight battle with Penn State especially knowing how bad they are, one score win today over a team they have higher recruits at every position across the three deep. Fields threw 3 picks today. That's insane for an OSU QB
November 21st, 2020 at 7:57 PM ^
Oh when will the healing ever begin?
November 21st, 2020 at 7:59 PM ^
We are about to lose to Rutgers, so.....
November 21st, 2020 at 8:11 PM ^
We are losing to Rutgers presently. And if this holds up I dont want to see the term Rutger till we beat them on the road again.
November 21st, 2020 at 8:13 PM ^
Let’s hold off on the Schadenfreud discussions until (1) we beat Penn State, (2) we actually play for a Big Ten championship, (3) we beat Ohio State. The reason people give Michigan fans so much crap is because we literally say stuff like this, when we haven’t backed anything up on the field in almost two decades.
November 21st, 2020 at 8:14 PM ^
Penn State will beat Michigan like a drum.
November 21st, 2020 at 8:21 PM ^
Should we be poking fun at a 0-5 team when we’re gonna be 1-4?
November 21st, 2020 at 8:27 PM ^
I’m not making fun of them. I think they beat us next week.
November 21st, 2020 at 8:43 PM ^
oh good at least we will only tie for last place when they beat us
November 21st, 2020 at 8:49 PM ^
They're still going to destroy Michigan so I wouldn't get too cocky.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:01 PM ^
Boy, this thread aged well.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:03 PM ^
You can stop talking shit about other programs, the Wolverines are an absolute shit show on their own
November 21st, 2020 at 9:07 PM ^
Penn state is gonna be in a much better position than Michigan when we both get new coaches. Our cupboard is straight up empty.
November 21st, 2020 at 9:36 PM ^
I don’t agree with that, respectfully. We have great RBs and WRs. If we had direction from the coaches, this would be a competitive team
November 22nd, 2020 at 2:11 AM ^
I don't think Penn State has actually had a better recruiting class than us since Harbaugh has been coach. Can anyone confirm?
November 21st, 2020 at 9:15 PM ^
This is Penn State’s worst starting record since they began playing football in 1892.
November 22nd, 2020 at 10:59 AM ^
Schadenfreude post feels like a self-own -- especially if a team gets their first (or only) win vs UM. I think it'll be a shitshow next week, and won't be surprised to give Frames his first W of the year. Their losses have looked better than UM's which is saying almost nothing, but it's still true.

I wonder what the Vegas odds of PSU 0-5 were to start the season.
