No surprises with Crystal Balls lately
Lorenz has ZH to OSU. Seems to be the trend, along with Cornelius Johnson to Michigan.
Battle flipping from OSU to Bama. Seems to be the trend.
If Ballz are an indication of where recruits are going, I'd say Battle flipping (which some of us are hoping means DH to UM), ZH to OSU and CJ to Michigan, doesn't seem like a lot of surprises, but then there's Dax.
Flipping him back would be some fireworks for sure.

I can’t wait for Game of Thrones to start.
December 18th, 2018 at 9:30 PM ^
I think I'm going to watch "Castaway" tonight, as some of the recent crystal balls remind me of when Wilson floated away from Tom Hanks...
December 18th, 2018 at 9:31 PM ^
WILSON.... WIIIIILLLLLSSSSSSSOOOOOONNNNN!
December 18th, 2018 at 9:42 PM ^
Tru Wilson is transferring too?
December 19th, 2018 at 12:11 AM ^
Not Tru. Not Tru at all.
December 18th, 2018 at 9:36 PM ^
Said no one since 2014.

Recruiting is a ladder

Looks like I picked a hell of a week to stop sniffing glue.

I haven't been sober since November 24th

I haven't been sober since 2011.

You had me at "No".
December 18th, 2018 at 9:30 PM ^
we'll have a solid class - could have been special, but will still fill positions of need - excited for Zach at RB
December 18th, 2018 at 10:05 PM ^
Solid class sure. But will it likely get pasted by Ohio State for four years?
December 18th, 2018 at 9:31 PM ^
Who will be the "Higdon" of this class? I'm guessing there will be a flip to blue.
December 18th, 2018 at 9:34 PM ^
Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude… a flip in to the Blue.
December 18th, 2018 at 9:46 PM ^
I stand corrected!
December 18th, 2018 at 9:33 PM ^
Ya but the Dark Crystal show on Netflix has some pretty surprising cast members, including Mark Hamill!
December 18th, 2018 at 9:36 PM ^
I am thinking while we may not be getting Harrison - we are going to either get Dax or another Top 250 player that we aren't expecting (like Devin Asiasi a couple years back).
Perhaps we should get Coach Beilein or Jordan Poole to go rub the fax machine in the football office, and pass on some good luck vibes, swag or positive mojo onto that SOB. Couldn't hurt.
Something good and fun is going to happen tomorrow.
Go Blue!!!
December 18th, 2018 at 10:38 PM ^
Jordan Poole should baptize the fax machine with a wicked jab step. Then every 5* flips to Michigan.
December 18th, 2018 at 11:09 PM ^
That Asiasi pick up worked well.
Thanks for bringing it up. (Sniff)
December 18th, 2018 at 9:37 PM ^
Harrison to OSU, Battle to Bama, Hill to Michigan. Kinda works out equally for everyone I guess. Definitely leaves us with the recruit we need the most.
December 18th, 2018 at 9:51 PM ^
I'd take that deal right now and STFU about 2019 recruiting for good.
December 18th, 2018 at 9:56 PM ^
I just dont get how bama getting battle sways Hill to us. This should have no impact on him. Hill is far superior to Battle and i don't think he cares if bama recruits him. And bama aint losing Dax because of Battle. They will drop Battle in a hurry if Dax says so.
December 18th, 2018 at 10:01 PM ^
Battle would be 3rd safety in this class alone.
December 18th, 2018 at 10:15 PM ^
You're allowing logic and rational thought to confuse you. We are talking about recruiting!
December 18th, 2018 at 10:03 PM ^
Hill is our most important target. We need that speed at safety. He would start as a frosh but be buried on Bama's depth chart. Najee should be Blue and didn't to now be doomed to third on the Satan's chart. Hill would struggle at Bama but be All B1G at UM with a shot at All American given way more playing time.
Dax Hill should be Blue.
December 18th, 2018 at 10:17 PM ^
I don't see Hill struggling anywhere. But I will go with your line of thinking if it lands him at Michigan :)

Fart noise
December 18th, 2018 at 11:18 PM ^
We need someone with more tech savvy than I to insert the Rodney Dangerfield fart from Caddyshack

Crystal Ball is telling me that Pep isn’t coming to work tomorrow because he doesn’t do much recruiting. Really doesn’t do much of anything for that matter
December 18th, 2018 at 9:49 PM ^
So just guessing here, but you're not feelin Pep all that much?
December 18th, 2018 at 9:51 PM ^
I got negged. My attempts at humor suck. lol
December 18th, 2018 at 9:50 PM ^
Enjoy that banhammer. I know I enjoy the splat sound that it makes.
December 18th, 2018 at 9:54 PM ^
Not everything is Pep's fault. All my stocks are in the toilet and I'll bet he's only responsible for half of them.
December 18th, 2018 at 10:18 PM ^
Yah, but do you have an average cost basis of @ $25 on HMNY? Dan it Pep.
December 18th, 2018 at 10:53 PM ^
MDog,
Did you ever think about maybe stepping away from the trough when the market hit a new all time high in August, September, or October?
December 18th, 2018 at 11:39 PM ^
Nah, I don't actually do anything. (Except bitch about the market.)
I'm on monthly dollar-cost average auto-pilot; across domestic large cap, small cap, international developed, and emerging markets no-load index funds.
Boring but effective. No cool bitcoin stories.
I stay the course through ups and downs . . . dot com bubble and crash, real estate bubble and great recession, and so on.
There have been far worse times than this. It will come back, and go up from there.
December 19th, 2018 at 1:07 AM ^
It always does. Just keep pumping money in, whether it’s high or low. It will always go much higher in the long run
December 19th, 2018 at 7:27 AM ^
The stock market has hit many new highs. But it's never hit a new low.
