Fly over plans for Saturday?
I'm always one to get to the game early when I know a fly over is going down. With this game being the first game of the year and against Air Force I can only assume that they could (and should) have something special planned. Any ideas as to what the plan is?

I don't know why he's buzzkillington...the forecast just switched during the day today to mostly sunny, before that was rain.

It might be a tad gusty though. Make sure to stake those canopies down well. Hopefully this ground should be softer than the ground we had in Arlington. I bent 3 of my stakes trying to get them in the ground next to Cowboys Stadium.

Not sure why my name has been invoked so many times this morning. Oh well - time for a crumpet.

Not to be a buttinsky, but I've been checking weather frequently since yesterday, and there seems to be quite a disparity. Weather.GOV (the NWS's site) says this:
Saturday Rain and possibly a thunderstorm before 4pm, then a chance of rain. High near 69. Northwest wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, weather.com says AM Clouds, PM Sun.

the FAA and there are no special TFRs over the area. There is always the 3000AGL TFR for active stadiums 1 hour before and after the game. Flyover aircraft obviously get ATC permission to break the 3000AGL limit.

while "Love Shack" is played on the PA system? That would be so "choice", I might have to be in early.

Is that early? That's right after the national anthem. The game starts like 1 minute later.
Early is an hour beforehand, to watch the team warm-up, see how Denard's throwing, see if there are any changes in who's running with the 1's. Early, baby.

• B-2 Stealth Bomber

Nothing gets me more pumped up for a game than a 75 ton killing machine roaring over 100,000+ screaming fans at the end of our National Anthem. AMERICA!!! FOOTBAWWWL!!!

The B-2 is an impressive sight, but I've seen it before at the Chicago Air & Water Show. I've never seen a bald eagle in flight before. I think that thing swooping around the field before the game for the duration of the national anthem is actually better than the quick flyby we'll get from the chopers and the B-2 because it'll be longer and more majestic.
Are there any other games scheduled to have flyovers at home this year?

The 3 umich helicopters are likely Survival Flight's new birds. Not quite the war machines that Blackhawks are, but these copters will be wearing full maize and blue livery.

B-2's are sweeeet. I've been to a game or two where a B-2 has flown over and it's definitely one of the cooler planes to witness performing a fly-over: awesome wingspan, still has that futuristic look, BIG in general, etc.. Wish I was up there for the game. Perfect plane to have for the Air Force Acadamy game. Any chance it's a B-2 because the USAFA happens to have their team playing there?!

I think a B-2 flew over the ND game back in '09.

B2 also flew over the Big Chill at the Big House, 12/11/2010.

I went to one and saw 5 Apaches fly over! It was outstanding. They were low and extremely loud. Tremendous.

You do know the AirForce is responsible for flying these planes? Just sayin.

I was initially thinking that the "Eagle flyover" was an F-15, but then I googled:
