Rivals mentioned...

Rivals mentioned that many of the jerserys (including Denards at one point) where switched out because they were over stretched and/or ripped. I don't know if it is a design flaw of the new jerseys, but it sure does make it clear that the DLine was getting held enough to cause their jerseys to get stretched to the point of needing to be changed.

This is a joke...

You all are out of your minds. The fact that Maize and Blue is even mentioned in the same breath as Zingerman's is preposterous. I'll gladly spend $20 at Zingermans because its just that good. Maize and Blue is bunk.

dantonio

if this guy was head football coach of my squad i would have real issues with being a fan of the team.

look at it another way

I know we all want to say that this is huge issue, but i encourage you all to look at it in another way.

The article only states that the woman was an employee of the university. She said that seh had gotten to know the Oregon players over the past couple months. She very easily could have simply been a chick that worked in the Rec building or as an atheletic trainer for another sport.

It very easily could be true that these football players got to know a person, who happend to also work for the university, that they simply became friends with. I don't see this as such a big issue.

are you kidding?

the only speech that he should think about using is this one. too good...

hey sheepman!

sheepman, i miss the days of  talking michigan football with you monday mornings!

eric mayes

man this guy doesn't get his due.a good firend of mine in high school wa part of th family that lived with eric mayes after his father took him under his wing. he graduatedd from portage norhter way before me but has yet to truly gain his "moment of fame", hiding behind the spotlight of guys like kely baraka, derek jeter, greg jennings and the like.

he was the CAPTAIN of th 97 team is desreves a lot of credit. go mayes. go blue.

On a related note...

...i recieved my student tickets and got row sec. 25 row 7. i'm exicted to have such close seats but has anyone sat in the student section this low and felt you couldn't see anything?

had a class with him

had a class with him (ware) my freshman year and can attest that he's also a pretty good guy. enjoyed some conversations we had while discussing "The Crisis of the African American Male" with prof Alford Young Jr.

davion rodgers!!!!

guy is 6'6" 200! wait a year or two and this guy is the next victor hobson.

great point

something i think a lot of people are losing track of. if they win on the field then there is no reason for a recruit to turn down u of m. top notch facilities, the biggest stadium in the country, and all the tradition. we win 8 games we get whoever we want.

Rich Rod

no matter what happens, Rich Rodriguez is and will always be one of my favorite coaches in college football. the guy is genuine and personable and even after how poorly he has been treated by the press, he's always very open to their questions.

although i hope it doesn't come to it, i will root for whatever team he coaches for in the future. (lets hope its U of M for many years to come)

nope

nope, i was always a chad henne fan

edit, delete

edit, delete

i don't remember

i don't remmeber the exact game, but its something i think about every time i cheer for him now. alot of people rooted against him and he's still a huge fan of u of m and is probably our most accomplished nfl player.

i believe you meant...

... "in the year 3030"

something i've been thinking about for a while

something i've been thinking about for a while, though is that i believe this year's OSU team and tressel could be different. I think that he lets Pryor do his thing more and lets the offense get more wide open. Although it pains me to say it, OSU is GOOD this year and the horseshoe is one of the toughest places to play, hand down.

great update

great update. doesn't seem like we need to get our hopes up at all with fsu commit karlos williams. even if he does visit, it sounds like playing with his brother is the deciding factor.

ouch brah...

ouch brah...

putting TP before a fellow wolverine fan? i just don't know what to say.

if you notice my name

if you notice my name you'll see spelling isn't one of my strong suits.

edit: wtf are you talking about? intelligence... google it.

sage advice

sage advice from a man currently accused of 3rd degree rape.

i beg to differ

i've seen him walking around recently and he has a noticable limp. some may say its just his swagger, but i would call it simply a small limp.

best answer

best answer to this question i've seen on this board in a long long time.

engles

i went to high school with the kid but he was only a freshman when i graducated so i can't really offer too much about him. however, i was told by the assnt coach that he was offered a scholarship a while ago but it was something like only 1/4 scholarship. is it possible that after these departures he was offered a larger scholarship, say 1/2?

mden for women

if you drive by the south west side of the big house you'll see an MDen for women inside the gates. its been up for at least a month now.

So 8-4

So 8-4 gets them to the capital one bowl? Where do you see iowa, penn state, wisconson, michigan state and ohio state going then?

pure genius

these three men were lyrical geniuses.

"Shooby-doo-wop,and scobby snacks,met a fly girl and i can't relax"

maybe i wasn't clear

i understand our field isn't blue. my question is in regards to how i've noticed our field turf has a glare on sunny days as well.

ideas from an undergrad

i suggest ideas already offered like hitting up the arb eating some zingermans and or blimpy burger. in terms of bars, i would stay away from places like ricks and the jug. dominicks, ashleys, and the heidelburg are all much more fun and will be more the crowd you're trying to drink with. whatever you do,

just make sure you walk to the game down state street and hoover. if yoiu ask me, that is the one memory besides walking into the stadium for the first time that yoiu'll never forget.

great pics

great pics dude. makes me miss ann arbor even more.

Wilson

Wilson makes a great set that comes with everything you need. comes with a bag as well. might be more around $400 at most but still its nice stuff and is worth the price.

I also agree that Pings are good. G5's should be pretty cheap by now but still availible. Although you'd then still have to buy some woods.

try the ganj

try relaxing a getting lifted every once in a while. you seem to be a little too tightly wound...

boom roasted
here's my question doesn't finding out it happened at WVU also possibly show that EVERY SINGLE NCAA FOOTBALL TEAM IN THE COUNTRY DOES WHAT MICHIGAN WAS DOING?!? I just think that this investigation could have occurred at any other school and the NCAA would find the same results. Everyone stretches the rules to get more practice time.
I wouldn't be suprised I wouldn't be surprised to see Packard Pub be PACKED after the spring game. I know it just opened up but students have been craving a bar there for pre/post game drinking for football games.
He's not as short as you think I saw Rountree a week or so ago at one of my favorite thursday night hang outs and I was really surprised at how big he was. I'm around 6' tall but he had at least two inches on me and wasn't as slight as I expected. He's also a great guy that was willing to talk for a while and told me how excited he was for the upcoming season. Definitely a great kid to have on the team.
I'm Torn I love Moe's and it was always the place that I'd go to to get the real authentic merchandise. There was something always great about stopping in at Moe's in between classes to see how I could waste some of my money. I also, however, have ties to the UGP guys and have always felt they run a quality business that is focused on helping the customer first. I wish them both the best in the future.
wow you're the first to point out my name is spelled wrong.
your dukies might have won it for you but who won the bracket challenge?!?!?! haha just basking in the glory of my winning bracket
i want that shirt fools thats right. tickeledtodeath
thank you i grew up on this game and its made me the drinker i am today. thank you rod allen. you are a true american
OH LETS DO IT that is all.
as far as i know as far as i know, good points don't have an expiration date.
i think the point trying to be made i think the point trying to be made is not that lsu is full of cheaters. instead, it just goes to show that as soon as the losses start piling up people begin to put the microscope on anything the team is doing. do you really think the paper that shall not be named would have been looking into practice hours and tricking unknowing freshman into answering loaded questions had we won a couple big ten championships to start the Rich Rod era?
sorry if this has been asked before but sorry if this has been asked before but, is this the guy from your avatar? http://tralalalalalalalalalala.com/ Gotta love that cold war mystique.
funny you ask i noticed it was him but didn't really want to bother him. then he dropped his keys on the ground and was struggling to bend over to pick them up due to his cast. i offered to help, he said he was all good, i took it as he didn't really feel like talking.
nope V-L-A-D
Leach Leach looks pretty weak to me. It was good to see him taking down cox in a drill but the kid doesn't look fluid or athletic enough to be a real contributor. Just goes to show how bad things must have been last year where we ended up putting him in over obi.
will they be serving beer? i'm going and wondering if they'll be serving alcohol like they do for red wings games. not sure if there are ccha rules that would make this not be the case.
Tay Odoms This guy is going to shred up NFL defenses. My dark horse... DENARD
