Craig Roh
I'm sure many of you know this, but AZ DE Craig Roh is set to announce his school decision on Thursday at 6:30 PM. Refer to M.Go.Licious for more info on that.
The speculation was that USC was big player, however, he was scheduled to visit USC this past weekend and did not. That's per Scout and largely unverified, so take it FWIW.
Roh apparently has visited Michigan more than once, taking his official visit during the Utah game.
He also has really fantastic eyebrows. Thick, lush, robust. They really are something to behold.
Word.

I'm hoping Brian has a post on this shortly; Brian, what are our chances of landing him? It seems very possible that we land his commitment but i'm still weary since he's a west coast kid and there's a lot of pull from USC and his hometown ASU.
Talk to your insiders and inform us minions.

The Rivals guys seem to think Michigan has a good shot at this one. He really liked his official visit at Michigan. They seem to be thinking UM or UCLA. Mentioned that UCLA was thought to be the leader until recently.

They didn't want to occupy themselves with showing their campus and program off to recruits. They wanted to be fully focused on the game.
I'd say it worked. And they still had several high profile unofficial visitors.

Rivals has been convinced for a while that it's UCLA, not USC, that is UM's biggest competition here.
The fact that he's announcing before he officially visits anywhere else isn't a bad thing.

Roh was originally scheduled to visit USC last weekend; instead he did an unofficial to ASU. He was scheduled to visit UCLA next weekend, but abruptly moved up his date. On today's WTKA recruiting insider podcast Sam Webb said he was "extremely, extremely, extremely, extremely, extremely" confident about Michigan's chances. Or something like that. But there were a lot of positive modifiers in there.
All signs point to yay here.
