LTT's letter burning
Saw this linked over at 11W, seems that LTT was burning that letter from tsiO for more than loyalty to UM. According to the article tsiO fans pulled some shenanigans while he was in Columbus for the NFTC. Stories been covered already, but this gives a little more insight.
*gasp!* I thought Ohio fans were the classiest people in the entire country!
not OT and sounds about right for their fanbase. On a side note why is the NFTC always in Columbus. Why not Ann Arbor?
I was gonna say, this might be the least OT thing ever to be labeled OT.
Football rivalry aside, Columbus makes a bunch more sense than Ann Arbor for that kind of event.
First off, It's a nike event and we are an adidas school
about a current football recruit on a site dedicated to Michigan football with a strong presence of recruiting is probably not OT.
Apparently he has been receving death threats. I can't believe someone would care that much about a little harmless fun from a rival. What's in the water down there in ohio?
Water is in the water...they just kinda crazy.
"There have been a couple death threats," Tuley-Tillman said. "And they've been sending my mom messages on Facebook. I just told her you can't listen to it because it's one of he biggest rivalries in sports."
fans have lost all respect. I hope we beat them by 21 points every GAME!
Big Lots Buckeyes. I'd be willing to bet that most of those "fans" have no association with OSU other than driving past it on 315.
OSU Fans: Won't stop pestering kid on Facebook and Twitter about when he's going to flip his commitment to OSU.
Kid: Says he's blue all the way.
OSU Fans: Don't believe him.
Kid: Proves it to them.
OSU Fans: BURN IT ALL DOWN TO THE GROUND!
Unrelated, but surprised to hear that OSU made a visit to his house following his commitment to Michigan? I understand that coaches can make in school visits to high school juniors but I thought that the schedule for in home visits was confined to their senior year of HS.
Haha, from the comments.......
"I would at least have removed the $100 bill first."
"This is a different Logan Tuley-Tillman who committed to Michigan. He is from Peroia, Illinois. The other kid was from Peoria."
Come to think of it, two of Logan Tuley-Tillman on the O-line would be pretty awesome...
Yeah, until Magnus starts bitching about both of their footwork and technique.
I keed, I keed.
Threatening a 17 year old kid is just ridiculous. I can sort of understand why the Kalis commitment would royally chap their a$$es, but LTT was from Illinois and has family in Michigan. It's not like he guaranteed he was going to tsiO and then backed out. The more I learn about people in Ohio, the more I wish they had the ability Texas has to secede from the US. But the fact the LTT was upset with them offering McCray, shows you how close team 134 is going to be.
Not to rehash an old (old) subject but the Kalis situation should not have been understandable in this instance at all, given that this is the fanbase who welcomed SnowPlow with open arms.
By that logic, most people here should have been appalled when Kalis flipped to Michigan. I deleted the last ten or so "HAHA, Boren Didn't Get Drafted!!!!" threads. I don't see too much of a distinction between the two. Boren's family was in Columbus and I, personally, don't see a problem with transferring home.
That's fine, and good for him, but Boren is still a D-bag.
Argh, sorry, not to get all historically accurate on an unrelated subject, but Texas has never had, nor does it now have, the power to secede from the US. It's one of those "facts" that people believe that is incredibly wrong
The Supreme Court ruled in Texas vs. White (1869) that Texas does not have the power of secession. They never had it.
The last quotes about McCray are great.
I would like to see Ohio fans faces if McCray burned his letter in a bonfire and posted the picture on twitter.
I'd really like to see their faces if his dad burned it!
Come on, are you sure? It's a treat:
When things don't go their way, it's like the world ends. I mean, I like football and all... but I just don't get it.
"I just really hate the whole state of Ohio."
Y'know, sometimes a kid just has a damn good head on his shoulders.
Lets see. Their recruits get photobombed by our recruits.Their recruits get shoved all over the field by our recruits and now our recruits burn their letters. For once blood pressure medication will actually out sell Skoal in that state.
Hold your horses there sport. 1 win in the last 10 years is nothing to be proud of.
Saying that, I love what the kid did. If anything happens that he doesn't finish at UM, he can always head to MSU....
1 of the last 6 against Michigan is propping another team's dirty gains...when his school hasn't beaten that team for over 75 years.
That's a tall order outselling Skoal, especially when the shoe is filled with "10,000 alumni and 74,000 truck drivers".
You think those animals in Ohio are even classy enough to dip Skoal? Hell no. Their top shelf is Grizzly and the majority of those mouth breathers haven't tasted anything better than Rooster in their lives.

Hi Herm.
Do you think he removed the $100 bill before he burned it?
You mean 10,000 alumni and 92000 truck drivers.
If it did have a $100 in it, it was probably a gift card from Fine Line Ink.
Bob Ufer said "74,000 truck drivers" and I don't argue with legendary figures in UM history, especially if they are deceased. RIP Bob Ufer.
Thank you for bringing this up for the first time.
First time I've seen the letter, some of us don't live here in the offseason yknow; god forbid a Michigan man exert a little courtesy.
What kind of a troglodyte do you have to be to send death threats to a teenager, even in jest? While I am all for having passionate fans, there is something seriously wrong with some of these people.
Hopefully the mgostore carries sizes large enough for LTT to buy a "Worst State Ever" shirt.
This is why I'm starting to like MGoBlog, it is one of the few internet sites that occasionally force me to look up a word or two... and it's a sports site. "troglodyte" similar to: "caveman". I should start sending some of these into The O'Reilly Factor for his Word of the Day.

Yeah but now adays they have 102K people at their games not 84K.
Remeber when Devin Gardner did it. Where was all the talk then. It really shows how times have changed.
There was plenty of talk then too.
I dont remember it being talked about on a national level. Maybe on here it was talked about a lot.
