Anyone else think that this is a steal?
Is your internet coated in unicorn blood? Do you dance with the devil in the pale moon light? I've been following round 7 like a hawk and somehow you beat me to the post.
A steal of a 7th round pick, he's going to do great things for that team. Good for him, he deserves this. One of my favorite players ever.
Im taking bets that Dave Molk will have a longer and more productive career in the league than the Konz kid from Wisconsin.
You would probably have the opposite view if Molk and Konz switched college teams
Actually I wouldnt. BTW dont put words in other peoples mouths asshole.
Stop putting mouths on other peoples' assholes words.
Yeah ok. You often have these strong feelings on Centers taken in the 7th round.
I think Mark Huyge is going to be better than Joe Thomas, but that's just me. Feel free to dog me if I'm wrong
Why not start another DickRod thread then?
What happened to that thread? It sparked some very interesting debate if I do say so myself. Don't recall your response, who did you think was worse?
You snooze you lose lions.
Good for Molk!
The Chargers love Michigan players.
He joins Steve Schilling and Jonas Mouton from the last draft. Interesting to think that Molk and Schilling could line up next to each other. The Chargers are really struggling to find five healthy bodies to put on the line. Their chances of playing are as good as anyone's, right now.
I think that the Chargers are getting a great, highly underrated center with this pick, and Molk will be able to do excellent things in San Diego. Congratulations to a great Wolverine.
to Molk. He has the desire and intelligence, to be a solid center at the next level.
I'm sure he will be extra motivated, being picked in the 7th.
over reached for Mouton last year ( IMO), and waited way too long on Molk but happy for David he is gonna have a huge chip on his shoulders and I think it will pay off for the Chargers 10 fold. Now lets get RVB, and Junior in there the last 15 picks or so. Go Blue
and he gets to live in San Diego......

I can agree with this. Great place to live. I've never been a Chargers fan, but with them drafting Molk, and the 2 from last year, I may have to reconsider my disdain for the Chargers.
Edit: Molk, let me officially welcome you to the Whale's Vagina! You're going to love it here!
Congrats to Molk for getting drafted. I really thought he would be a 4th or 5th round pick, so it's a surprise to see him drop down to the 7th. His work ethic and outstanding football IQ lead me to believe he can have a lengthy NFL career. I wouldn't be surprised to see him be a starter one day.
Toney Clemons was just drafted by the Steelers fwiw. I am happy for him after all he went through with the Freep and Transfering from U of M.
"... after all WE went through with the Freep ..."
AFAIK no one forced him to talk to Rosen@#$%.
Good for him, though -- he made a smart decision to transfer. Those don't always work out well.
heard since then, he was tricked into saying stuff, some was also embelished and some was off the record from what I have heard and read in interviews since that dreadfull day. Now yes we all got the shaft but he was forced basically to transfer cause he was hated for something he never wanted to happen. So yes I feel for Toney wether he screwed ou or was just a nieve teen getting screwed by the dirty news parer reporter.
Clemons announced he was transferring in March 2009. The Free Press article came out days before the 2009 season started.
now wasnt he the guy who was quoted though about all the rules being broken about practice time? Thanks for setting my timeline straight Mr. Miggle.
I think he was the only player quoted attacking RR over practice time and voluntary workouts.
is still available! C'mon Bucs. Freeman needs someone to push him. I'm also hoping that Junior gets drated soon.
Only 5 centers have been picked in the draft. Tough position to get drafted at.
All he did at the combine was lift. Not sure how much he did at their pro day. I could see the Pats taking Moore in this round(7th). They seem to find good QB's in the late rounds.
They tend to take those "high risk" guys
Damn, I wanted him as an UDFA
Junior just got nabbed by the Chiefs and gets to learn from Dwayne Bowe great for him.
Take care of him, Steve!
I was hoping the Lions would pick him up, but I guess that wasn't meant to be. Congrats to Molk, do us proud.
