No explanation can do. Junior is so camera shy that you need to see the emotion. Plus you could tell, just like the Ohio game...it hit him in the middle "damn, this is my last game." He represented Michigan well. Very happy for him and proud of his performance.

That kid has battled injury, coaching transitions, and adversity multiple times(including that horrible Iowa call against him). For him to be named game MVP with that spectacular performance, the emotions finally came out. Definitely will miss him going into the 2012 season, just glad he left Michigan on a winning note!

to pull down those wisely thrown jump balls.

The announcers kept saying that Denard was throwing 50/50 jump balls to Jr. They finally corrected themselves after the game and said that with Jr, those were really 70/30 jump balls.
Wise indeed.

doesn't have it up yet, but they do have Holly Rowe going all "MOVE BITCH, I'M ESPN!" to some chick trying to interview Hoke

...if so, that's bullshit. Angelique has followed this team fairly for years.
I've always hated Holly Rowe. I once was on the sidelines at a Mt. Union national championship game and she was cussing out a trainer for not giving an injury update. She's such a bitch. She defines the word bitch and I'd tell her to her face.
...I'd just make sure I had no food in my hands and my clothes didn't smell like BBQ.

looks a little young to be angelique, but same hairstyle

She confirmed on twitter last night that it was not her as she wasn't on the field. She probably would have whipped Rowe's ass if it was her.

Wow, does she have any eligiblity left? I could see her next to Kalis and Garnett on the O-Line, wrecking fools.

Gonna miss him, hopefully Stonum get up like he did next year.
January 4th, 2012 at 1:37 AM ^
I'm pretty nervous about our receiving corps w/o Junior's "give me the ball in tight spots" attitude. Roy Roundtree has falled off the face of the earth, and who knows how good Stonum really can be - he could be anywhere from Roundtree '10 to Roundtree '11.
need moar 6'3 receivers.
i'm actually a little alarmed by the lack of progression shown offensively in this game, especially after the last 3 regular season games.
Denard seemed completely bored and without fire tonight, and we weren't blocking shit up front. This off-season will be particularly intriguing to follow.
Life w/o Martin, Van Bergen, Molk, etc doesn't sound so promising at this moment.

Classy, Holly. fire that bitch.

Holly Rowe is ugly. that selfish display will taint her forever

nice moment with Junior. I believe that he will have a good NFL career

I'll admit I got a little teary eyed this game..with the Molk pregame piece about his mother and Junior's speech at the end. Add that to basically crying in joy after the Ohio State win, it's been a pretty emo couple games for me with Michigan football.
Now let's just hope Alabama beats LSU real good so half their defense + Trent Richardson goes on to the NFL. I don't want to cry for 3 consecutive michigan football games. lol

When I first saw the speech, I was texting friends about the game and it caught me by surprise. I had to rewind my DVR to see if what I heard was in fact a teary-eyed Junior. I'm so happy for him, and for all of those great young men on Team 132! Sometimes, as fans, we think about ourselves and the impact that the team's on-field performance over the last few years has had on US- but we forget that as hard as it was for us to hear jabs from our co-workers/friends who cheer for a rival team, it must've been infinitely more heart-wrenching for the players like Junior and the other seniors, who for years, must've heard some pretty awful things about their "legacy" at Michigan. Well, I for one, am glad that these men were able to re-write their own legacy this year, and put a stamp on the final chapter of their Michigan careers. Team 132!!! Hail To The Victors!

really says it all. Well done Junior and Team 132.

I really hope that performance was sufficient to push him over the edge and into legitimate NFL consideration. I think he deserves a shot.
