There were eyewitnesses …

There were eyewitnesses (both are journalists) who matched Scheffler's account so I would be more inclined to believe Scheffler over the Louisville PD who is known to be serial liars.

He'll be a long shot to make…

He'll be a long shot to make the roster.

LaPorta is entrenched as the starting TE. Brock Wright is basically entrenched as TE2 or they wouldn't have matched his contract offer from SF. James Mitchell and Shane Zylstra are battling for TE3. The only way McKeon can make the team is if he can make a big mark at ST.

I think PGA has a strained…

I think PGA has a strained relationship with Valhalla club so this might be the straw that breaks the camel's back. PGA can simply choose to have a different golf venue for PGA championship major.

Considering what happened to…

Considering what happened to Louisville PD in the past 5 years, doubtful.

Glory is a poster who I…

Glory is a poster who I quoted below in this topic.

Also, you missed this quote: "They are allowed to go through, that's why they have the credential and the wave-through," Romines said. "He was unaware there had been a wreck, and he proceeded like they'd been instructed to. He did exactly as he was instructed to enter the premises."

Looks like Scheffler did nothing wrong and the police officer went on a power trip.

The police report isn't reliable considering the last few years especially with Louisville PD.

Copying and pasting the Glory's post below:

Read the reports.

Scheffler didn't know he was a cop as he was wearing a yellow raincoat.  He even said to the cop "I didn't know you were a police officer."  Further, three other golfers apparently did exactly what Sheffler did and were waved in without any issues.  Scheffler was driving a PGA designated car just like other golfers that were let in.  If anything, this would be the right time to use the "do you know who I am" card.  The cop overreacted.  The body cam will be very interesting.

Police jumping on the car…

Police jumping on the car and bashing the car: FELONY ASSAULT!

Louisville PD has a bad…

Louisville PD has a bad reputation (deservingly so) so I do not give them the benefit of the doubt.

The players were told that…

The players were told that they can enter through so it wasn't power tripping on Scheffler's part.

Louisville PD shat…

Louisville PD shat themselves once they found out that the cop arrested Scottie and ESPN reporter documented the entire incident.

I would argue that…

I would argue that flattening the lottery odds encourage tanking among fringe playoff teams.

I mean it should not be…

I mean it should not be surprising. LSU lost 3 DTs to the NFL draft, and Brian Kelly still has deep ties to GVSU football that he regularly donates money to the GVSU athletics department (one of the building is named after him and his wife).

There's no path to PT on DT with Graham and Grant taking up the majority of the snaps. It's not that complicated to see why Suggs chose LSU

Unless you’re an elite…

Unless you’re an elite player or a very good college player, the NIL money isn't there for WBB players. Also, there’s a mass exodus in transfer which tells you one thing, and apparently, KBA’s personality doesn't mesh well with the players.

NIL isn't the reason for the…

NIL isn't the reason for the transfers.

For budgeting purposes, WBB…

For budgeting or NIL money purposes, WBB would like to have some money which is probably why I said $$$. Maybe it's for NIL opportunities since a lot of in-season neutral site games are trending this way.

EDIT: Actually, it seems like CBB are trending towards having mid-season tournament or multi-team event or neutral site game for NIL money. That makes sense with scheduling a neutral game in LV against South Carolina.

Probably $$$$?

Probably $$$$?

I wouldn't be too surprised…

I wouldn't be too surprised if it's LSU. LSU lost 3 DTs to the NFL draft and they need bodies there plus Brian Kelly still has a strong ties to GVSU football.

Brian Kelly still has deep…

Brian Kelly still has deep ties to GVSU Football and donated money to the athletics department. He has a building named after him and his wife IIRC.

I've heard the opposite. Apparently KBA is a bit of a hardass

Not really the case. It's…

Not really the case. It's the NBA admin that voiced the displeasure of tanking. The fans are fine with it especially if there's an elite prospect. The fans would've been absolutely fine for teams to tank for Wemby last season.

Next season, fans would be fine for teams to tank for Flagg and Bailey next year.

I mean, this is the worst…

I mean, this is the worst draft in over a decade. It's probably comparable if not worse than 2013 draft.

It would've been the Pistons luck to win the lottery on the worst draft ever. IMO, there is no difference between 1-10 so landing at #5 is fine with me.

Michigan was fortunate not…

Michigan was fortunate not to face Texas or OU until the WS if they make it this far. Yes, the regional is a bit of a tough draw, but this is the tournament, if they do make the WS, they will have earned it

Phat Phat has never played…

Phat Phat has never played PG in the travel ball and was often a wing player for the Family. He's not a PG anyway.

I saw Hugh Freeze's swing…

I saw Hugh Freeze's swing and I'm shocked that he's a 7 handicap.

It's interesting that Dusty…

It's interesting that Dusty feels that there's not much depth at guard considering the amount of guards on the roster. He wants 2 PG(or combo G) on the court at all time which makes sense. So we know that guards will play from 1-3 in his system which leads me to believe that it'll be

PG: Donaldson | Jones | Cason

SG: Gayle | Jones | Pippen | Brooks

SF: Jones | Burnett | Walters

Based on May's presser and current roster, I think finding a wing player who can play 3/4 would be ideal so Jones can be a utility guard who can fit in PG, SG or SF depending on the rotation.

You're wrong on this one…

You're wrong on this one. They have one open scholarship because of GW3 entering the tranfer portal. Jace not on scholly means they have two scholarships to work with since Dusty said one which means that Jace is on scholly for the next sesaon.

Larry Johnson Sr is a highly…

Larry Johnson Sr is a highly regraded DL coach and has coached up multiple 1st round picks at DL from both PSU and OSU. It's quite possible that both Sawyer and JTT were overrated as a recruit. If there's one position group that OSU should be strong at in terms of development, it's at DL.

Notice he said 1 open…

Notice he said 1 open scholarship which means Jace gets the scholarship and will be on the team as a 5th year graduate student.

Technically, yes, but NFL…

Technically, yes, but NFL runs a lot of college concepts borrowing from Air Raid, Run and Shoot, Pistol, etc. So pro style doesn't really mean anything anymore

LC didn't set up RR for…

LC didn't set up RR for success with the recent recruiting classes and lack of OL. RR did not do a good job of restocking OL by focusing so much on the skill position players. Hoke did a bad job of identifying and developing talent. It just a bad recruiting job by all three leading up to Harbaugh tenure.

Tbh, NFL doesn't run a pro…

Tbh, NFL doesn't run a pro-style. It's an antiqued term from the 90s and early 00s. NFL has taken in on more high school/college concepts. The blocking scheme is pretty similar across the board like Pin/Pull, Power, Trap, Counter, Wham, etc.

What sets Michigan OL apart is they recieved good coaching and developed well. OL recruiting matters little in the overall grand scheme of things because it's so hard to project HS players as a OL since they usually come in undersized and need college S&C to get bigger and stronger.

IIRC, Lloyd Carr took 3 in …

IIRC, Lloyd Carr took 3 in '06 in one class and 1 in '07 class also screwed Rich Rod so OL depth wasn't there at the end of LC tenure all the way up to early Harbaugh tenure. It took years for Harbaugh to restore it.

Tschetter isn't a 3. He's a…

Tschetter isn't a 3. He's a 4/5. He's an undersized stretch big and is in no way shape or form a wing player.

Walters and Wolf are likely…

Walters and Wolf are likely PF. Wolf also will see time at the 5 which makes it a 5 out offense. It will be nice to see a contrasting style of offense between Goldin and Wolf. Goldin at the low post with Wolf playing at the perimeter when either plays at the 5.

Michigan badly needs a true 4. Walter is more of a 3 while Wolf is more of a 5. If May can find a defensive 4 who can protect the rim and can switch, that would be ideal. The combination would be Walters at 4 with Goldin at the 5 then the portal 4 with Wolf at the 5. It makes it a nicely balanced frontcourt.

Wolf will see time at the 4…

Wolf will see time at the 4. Offensively, he fits at the 4, but defense is where there may be a potential issues. However in the B1G where there are teams who plays with two bigs on the floor, it's fine. I can see Wolf getting some PT at the 4 against Indiana, MSU, etc.

Pretty cool that Wolf grew…

Pretty cool that Wolf grew up a Michigan fan and almost walked on to Michigan. Going to Yale was the right decision and was able to parlay his play into a full scholarship at Michigan.

You're right. You are…

You're right. You are confusing the two players. Copp did play QB at Skyline HS.

He did not play QB in HS. He…

He did not play QB in HS. He was a fullback/RB in HS and Kelvin Grady, former Michigan PG and WR, was the primary RB with Kelvin's cousin, Demarcus Grady (NIU QB and WR) playing at QB. I know this because EGR was a dominant program in the 00s and won multiple state championships in D3.

He turned down D3 football during prep school so he got lucky with the path he took to get into the NHL. Easily one of the most unlikely path to the NHL.

Marvin Harrison got 27 yards…

Marvin Harrison got 27 yards, 44 yards and 11 yards on Will Johnson. That's 82 against Will Johnson including the DPI. Will Johnson won some battles including the INT. Even when Will Johnson lined up across him, Michigan regularly rotated the coverage towards Marvin Harrison Jr because he's a huge threat on the offense which is the correct game plan.

I wouldn't call 5 for 118…

I wouldn't call 5 for 118 yards with 1 TD getting blanketed. Both won some and both lost some. That's the reality of both elite prospects

There is a difference…

There is a difference between G-League/overseas and the NBA. Short PG who can't shoot aren't NBA caliber players. Yes, Zavier does get 10 day contracts here and there, but he has never gotten a one year contract or long term contract. It's still a death sentence for non-shooting short PGs.

That being said, good for Zavier to stay in the G-League.

Phat Phat isn't playing over…

Phat Phat isn't playing over Cason or Pippen

If he's not Michigan…

If he's not Michigan material then why did USC accept his transfer? They're a B1G team. Hmmmm, makes you think

The coaches are waiting…

The coaches are waiting until 11:59pm tonight to see who will enter their name into the portal at the last minute. There may be more players for May to recruit for the open scholarship spot (GW3 spot). I prefer that he'll recruit a 4 who can play defense and rebound because the frontcourt is lacking on defense IMO.

The interests on their side…

The interests on their side has faded.
