Well....I sacrificed so much personally to stand in this discussion with you which i would never take back. Unfortunately the past few days has told a different story to me about the very little appreciation i have here from this board. In life i would never advise anyone to be where they are not wanted, but.... I enjoy you guys and after all.......it's just good fun now, isn't it?
I guess you conveniently forgot 62 and 56 the previous years. And that 62 was a mercy score. Yup, you're right.. last year we only scored 27 thanks to your great DC and #97. Oh, what's that you say? They're both gone? Uh-Oh. But I enjoy your comments. And I do love The Rivalry.
Yup, we are soooo bummed out at tOSU. You beat us for the first time in 10 years and then.....your HC goes looking for another job on NSD (with the Vikings no less!) and you lose BOTH your coordinators. Meanwhile, we hire arguably the best DC in the biz. You can put whatever spin you want to on this but I gotta tell you.....we are so excited to host Jimmy and whoever ends coordinating your O & D into The Shoe come November. Let the games begin.

I am always puzzled by this kind of remark. What makes you think that Urban would coach at UM? While he totally respects the program, he can't stand it. They are the enemy to him. And no amount of money will ever change that. My other question is how UM fans can pine for Urban when for seven years, all you guys did was complain about what a cheater and a scumbag he is. Just sayin'.
Yup, that's it. The Ohio State QB room is loaded with young talent, all who have to wait for one of the best two QBs in the country to finish out the season. So that's why they're coveting a guy who couldn't start for UM. Makes sense to me.
Great post. For years you guys complained about Urban. He cheats. He runs a dirty program. Only a school like OSU would hire a creep like him. Now you want him to come in and save your program? A guy that won't even utter your name in public? That is sooooo delusional. But funny.
I just can't believe the arrogance here......actually thinking that Urban would go coach at a school he won't even say the name of unless it's in a sentence that ends in 7-0.
Yes, I sure remember those days. They were awful. And I sure have enjoyed the last 14 years.
But I am also an OSU fan that has a deep respect for Mich. I want both teams to be undefeated and untied going into The Game. I root for you guys in Bowl games.
First of all, I am a Buckeye fan. And I think our chances of winning Saturday with Cardale at about 15%. I would have given us a 60% with a healthy JT. That being said......if the Bucks win against a very tough Whisky team (#2 in defense, #8 in rush defense, #8 in pass efficiency defense nationally), then they deserve to go. I won't be heartbroken if they lose, after all......they lost two Heisman candidate QBs in one season. I don't expect pity from you guys but maybe a little realism. If they win......they probably deserve to be in the final four. And if they win and don't get in, I will accept it. If they won with JT and didn't get in, then I would be really pissed, but that's not the case.
But, holding a grudge from 41 years ago and trying to equate the business of college football in 1973 to 2014, that's just plain silly.
