Holy cow, thank you so much for posting that. Between Franks death and seeing that old glorious ballpark, I am getting a little misty here. So many memories of that place growing up.
The bigger question is where we would be if we ended up hiring Greg Schiano at the time? Perhaps an easier, Lloyd type pick and a much better transition. Instead we blew up the program and went a completely different direction with Richrod. I think at the time the program needed tweaking, not a complete re-set. The rest is history.

Turned them in 3 years ago. Every game is on television. Just not into wasting an entire day like that anymore. I have a lot of better ways to spend the money as well.

Seems like a roll of the dice, but why not. The Georgia boards and people really like him. When he was a GA at Georgia during the transition to Granthan as a new DC, they sent Macdonald on the road recruiting and he was described as a huge hit with the kids.
The book is he is super smart, and kind of a boy wonder, defensive savant and rising star if you will, per description out of Baltimore. Will he be paired as a co-coordinator that is yet to be seen.
