I know we're in a state of BPONE and all but how exactly is MSU supposed to even remotely replicate OSU's game plan? They have one, maybe 2 decent receivers, no OL to speak of and a inaccurate QB. And their defense, while great, has been the same defense for years. On offense bide your time survive the zero to negative plays then break one deep late.
DL depth really being tested. Dwumfour looks out for the year, hopefully Kemp/Gary can come back healthy soon. Other than that great job by the defense keeping their assignments.
How does ABC not even bother providing a legit replay of the pick6? SMH
It's also available on YouTube TV, unfortunately the price for subscription just went up to $40. They do have a one week free trial, might be useful for the week, and then cancel.
Nice story BTB (although it makes me feel old when you say you were 10 for the MM PSU game, I was a freshman sitting about 10 rows up from the catch).
I too grew up with immigrant parents who didn't know about football (watched too many Lions' games as a kid and thought the sign for holding was generic penalty call). Eventually though the helmets and the colors, and the fact that I started watching in 1997, got me to the Maize and Blue. I did learn all the rules of football, with a little assistance from...the encyclopedia at school. How in the hell did we live without the internet?
huge loss for the Indian test cricket team especially with the great Sachin Tendulkar retiring as well. Some will decry this as the further degradation of test cricket to give way to shorter one day or 20/20 format. To them I say bah! Will have 2 see how this team responds in Australia for the World Cup coming off their lackluster performance in their recent series there.
(Ok done with being a fob. HARBAUGH HARBAUGH HARBAUGH HARBAUGH eeeeeeeeee KHAKIS MUPPETS ITHAPPENED.GIF)
I negged you despite being in agreement that that RR should be let go. Calling everyone on this board "pussies" is a bit much. This website/board has higher standards than the rest of the internet, therefore that kind of language is unacceptable.
I absolutely loved the Deshawn Sims's story. I had never heard about this, am I just late to the party or is this the first you all have heard this as well? I wish Deshawn and his new family nothing but the best!
The one gripe I have is that the story was too short, I wish the writer could have gone into more detail. Hey Free Press, instead of ripping RR for the 999th time, how about delving more into this story? (If they actually did a Deshawn story, my apologies.)
I disagree, it's definitely Muppets time. With the lack of success of Michigan's other major teams and now that we're looking at the ever more real possibility of either Sparty or OSU winning a basketball national championship, it's time to celebrate anything. Brian, cue it up!
If it weren't for that comment, the game would have been awful. Between the incessant "green" references and our inability to make wide open threes, the game was fairly unwatchable. I can't believe that Jay Bilas and whatever dope announced the game with him was the highlight of my day.
Next year the Big 10 has a mandatory Bye week and everyone is moving their schedule back 1 week. Michigan/Ohio State is going to be during Thanksgiving weekend next year.

What a bizarre group of people on ESPNU. Jay Bilas, Aaron Boone, Julie Foudy, Barry Melrose, Mark Schlereth and Michael Wilbon. Huh?
