New Belgium! Either the Trippel or Red Hoptoberfest. Excited they are in Michigan. Anyone been able to find Sam Adams Fat Jack? Both times I've been to Holiday Market they are sold out.
I still think the number one reason is for the players and the coaches. I have a hard time believing a single player on our team would want to play in a lesser bowl game.
Your line of thinking is ridiculous. You go ask the players and the coaches where they want to play a bowl game. Everyone of them would say we want to play on the biggest stage in the best bowl game. It doesn't matter who we play whether it be Arkansas or Houston or Eastern Michigan. It's a BCS game. It's the best game the system provides us and we can't change the system. Look how many other games are on January 3rd. You think playing Arkansas in the Capital One bowl is better than playing in the Sugar Bowl? Insanity.
Michigan, regardless of how fucked up the system is, should want to play in the highest profile bowl game they can every year no matter what. Our goal is to win the Big Ten championship, yes. But saying you want to go to a lesser bowl game is just being a selfish fan without caring what is best for the program.
Two things about this whole mess stand out to me.
1. I can't see Texas going independent
2. I'm not sure the SEC jumps to 16
I see it more like this, SEC moves to 14, and everyone else follows suit. The PAC 12/16 is the only one who moves to 16. At least for a while.
SEC adds Texas A&M and FSU
PAC 12/16 adds Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State
Big Ten adds ND and Syracuse
ACC adds WVU, Connecticut, and USF
Big East and Big 12 go, well we have 5 teams and you have 5 teams and create a ten team conference - Pitt Louisville Cincinnati Rutgers TCU Kansas KSU Missouri Iowa St and Baylor
MWC stays how it is now
The big 4 conferences get 2 bcs bids a piece, big east 12 and mwc get one, and two at large bids.
You must mean pylon. I was thinking for a good minute about Brandon Minor piling on people and getting a touchdown and nothing came to mind. Then I thought I was losing my mind because any bullshit call about people creating a crazy pile-on dog pile style which resulted in a touchdown and involved Brandon Minor would be something I'd remember. Then I sounded it out.
Question, have you ever been to Bailey's in Arlington? Has anyone actually been to Bailey's in Arlington? We went into that place about five minutes late for Indiana, which was sad enough, only to find about 5 people there completely uninterested in the game. Went back and drank our own much cheaper beer instead. Saved money but very sad no one was there.
Let us know what the bar scene is like at 9 AM in Cabo if you figure anything out.
Edit: I got curious, I'd call this place

Exactly, works at Yost as it is impromptu. Deliberately playing a phone ringing over the loud speakers at the big house, worst idea, or worst idea ever?
They serve Constant Buzz, and it is the best twenty dollar alcoholic milkshake type thing you and your friends will ever share. That is of course unless you are feeling a bit greedy and drink the whole damn thing to yourself, which I recommend.

Let's hope Saban feels like this at the end of the game.
Ashley's serves the 22oz bottles, which is great!
