Sears signs w/ Bengals
This is my first topic so easy on the negs if it's already been posted. A search just brought up a post about his tryout. Being a Bengals fan (yeah go ahead laugh it up) I read that they officialy signed him today. Probably not going to amount to much more than a camp body but best of luck to him.

I am a Bengals fan too. Best of luck to Sears.
Being a Bungle's fan is punishment enough.
It can't be any worse than a Lions fan, aside from the fact that you likely live in Ohio.
Pats/celtics/Bosox fan.
I hear he's pretty good at tackling the guy he's covering. Especially when he's on offense.
Let the jokes (about UM DBs and the Bengals, excluding Leon Hall) begin!
Seriously, I miss Johnny. I liked his red contact lenses and Sideshow Bob hairdo.
Man, the Bengals love guys with criminal backgrounds
the bengals have a serious need for CBs who receivers can easily blow by.
If my Browns hadn't hired Holmgren this year then I guarantee any of the previous regimes would have targeted Sears.
I don't think anyone living in detroit has any reason to make fun of you for being a Bengal's fan....
Yay for Skyline Chili!
"Wholesome hearted food. And a taste that's so divine. Together. At last it's Skyline time."...couldn't resist....
Clearly, the Bengals' WRs were in need of a confidence boost.
Yeah, we were all laughing when Ryan Mundy got signed to an NFL squad too....
If Sears gets stuck rooming with Pacman in training camp, it could be the start of a long downward spiral.
Trent better watch out...
Can't embed can't figure out why
Did anybody ever hear a definitive story about why Sears got dismissed from the team? I remember two stories - one about him testing positive for marijuana, and one about him having an altercation on the team bus. Maybe it was a combination of the two that got him kicked off...
Anyway, I was actually impressed with Johnny Sears' kick return ability early in the 2007 season. Not so much as a cornerback, but he was a pretty solid athlete.
