OT: Detroit Pistons to play in throwback teal uniforms for 10 games in 2022

Those uniforms stink so hard.
The reverse primary crimson version of this era unis are kinda regal. I had a pullover starter jacket featuring this branding and never knew, as a first grader, what the horse had to do with a piston. Until my dad’s buddy, an OG Detroit sports devotee and still a presence at our M tailgates, told me it represented horsepower. Agreed that the adult in me prefers the understated blue-and-red team branding now, but these bombastic 90s unis are fkn sick.

Pistons need a whole re-brand.
I don’t know what colors (or if a color change is needed) but the logo is so plain and bland (and not in the way the NY Yankees cap insignia and the Old English D are plain but special).
I am not saying go back to the Teal, but something needs to happen to usher in a new era

Absolutely loathe the UWM patch on the jersey. Had a warehouse line with those guys for years, and it was less than ideal, to say the least.
I hate it now, I hated it then. The logo is cool. If they want to have the logo and the font as an alternate, great. Just use red, white and blue for the colors.
