MSU Tunnel Assault Participant ‘Tank’ Brown pleads guilty
Mr. Brown was involved in both the MSU Tunnel Assault and a gun crime; he pled guilty in both cases to obtain reduced charges. https://www.mlive.com/spartans/2023/07/former-michigan-state-football-player-takes-plea-deals-to-gun-tunnel-assault-charges.html
Having a gun illegally? Based on comments from idiot "rival" fanbases last year, he should be given a life sentence in prison with the death penalty under consideration.
Supposedly his gun was registered but he was drunk at a bar and concealing it. He got kicked out and when police came to talk to him or put in cuffs the gun fell out. He was charged with concealing a gun while drunk I think and they reduced it to something and gave him the HYTA agreement again which is BS. It is or was supposed to be a one time thing that was for learning purposes but obviously he didn't learn from the tunnel incident about doing stupid shit and breaking the law.
It’s ok, our rival fanbases have more important things to worry about right now like what a recruit’s plate of food looks like on his visit
You'd think there would be some Ann Arbor area Michigan fans that could have shown up and had a brisket competition at the Big House to cater this thing. Now THERE'S an idea.....
I'm in! 26 hours on my pellet smoker... :P
get that bastard to the Big House, STAT!
I’m thinking of switching over to a pellet smoker (vs the charcoal/wood one I have now). Thoughts?
Doooo it. I have a Z Grill and it’s super simple. Set the temp, place the temp probes, set the stop temp and walk away. Your phone buzzes when it’s time to tend to the meat. I work from home on Friday and have meat smoking all day. Pellet flavors are plentiful and you can even mix in charcoal pellets to get that flavor. Uploading pics directly from my iPhone is a pain in the ass or I’d share the beef ribs I did last weekend.
I reccomend the pellet smoker. It us easy to use and easy to experiment. If you like to be hands on and play around, it will reduce that need, but provide more time to socialize or even be away from home. I've got baby backs on right now and have only had to make sure of the pellet supply fir 3+ hours. Holds temps steady for longer smokes like brisket. 20 lb bag of pellets is 11 bucks. Not much to fault, IMHO.
One vote on the stick burner side for me. I like playing with fire.
I feel bad for the kid though. Dude made himself a plate of food he liked, posted it on social, and now the whole Internet is roasting him for being a little bit of picky eater who doesn’t care for condiments?
Clearly, I missed something.
Kid is getting roasted for this tweet. If there was ketchup on this plate, no one would care
Good grief.
(In other countries you'd get laughed at for putting ketchup on your food.)
That could be my son's plate of food. This is exactly how he eats, age 23.
That plate looks phenomenal, I’d eat that up all day! What a weird thing for people to get triggered by…..
Roasting the kid is lame
He likes what he likes; leave him alone, obviously.
I'm not perpetually online, so I don't know if pictures have surfaced of better food options. Based on this picture though "BBQ at the Big House" is frozen chicken tenders, and half-assed grilled hot dogs. Not a good look.
Sorry, but that looks plain-ass nasty. “Barbecue” at the Big House?! How about serve real barbecue? Not one piece of food on that plate touched a grill much less a smoker. These kids paid their own way for that? Yeesh. 🤦🏻♂️
Yeah, I agree. I hope there are more inspiring options available at the BBQ than THAT plate. I mean did we just lose a war? C-rations at a major recruiting event seems aiming a bit low.
Poor guy. Victim
He got the HYTA in both cases which when I was offered it years ago it could only be used one time. Did they change the law or something? It still will show on court records if he gets arrested again but on records for background checks it will be clear if he completes everything as agreed to.
MSU player who felt entitled to carry a concealed weapon anywhere he wanted to.
However, Brown’s arrest on gun charges resulted in the assault case being opened again.
It sounds like he has a charge that hasn't been resolved yet (the reopened assault case) which hasn't yet been covered by HYTA. But I'm sure that will be HYTAed eventually, too. Hopefully the poor man will then be able to have his gun rights restored.
He feels entitled to carry a concealed weapon anywhere he wishes (including a circuit court). Hopefully the HYTA will cover all incidents and his gun rights will be restored. Compare this poor man's crimes to Mazi Smith, and you'll see that Smith got off easy (typical for scUM, amiright?) while Mr. Brown has been persecuted.
All the involved MSU players will develop into men of great character, and no further incidents of assault will occur on or off the field between U of M and MSU. Lol.
Obvious they were gonna plea. Just glad they got charged and had to plea. A guy like this is destined to get the full sentence and soon. Unless he changes his attitude.
Expecting this to be the top story on the Valenti show today
