Seems like a good hire. The position coach hires seem solid, even though I'm still not very pleased with the DC hire. Hopefully these guys are good recruiters and elite developers and can hang around a few years.

I've seen people mentioning the Texans allegedly counter-offering him. Can anyone out there substantiate that?
Really hope this gets across the finish line. We could be set up for sustained success with such a young staff.

I’ll be happy if we land him but this is one of the reasons I wish he would’ve went after Parker from Toledo. This guy will be covered by the NFL every off-season, they already know who he is and what he can do. Hopefully whatever decision is made doesn’t take very long and Michigan can move on either way.
