...we're always hearing about the Chargers being one of the two teams that end up in L.A. There's talk of competing interests trying to build stadiums up their in a couple of different areas (using the Coliseum until the new stadium is built). The Chargers ownership says the right things about wanting to stay in San Diego, but cannot (or will not) settle upon where they even want their new stadium to be built. The target sight has moved from next to Petco downtown, to La Mesa, to Oceanside, back to next to Petco, to wherever they think they want it this month.
I'd bet dollars to dounts that the Bolts are gone and moved to L.A. with the Rams coming back as well. The Raiders could stink up the deal and steal the Chargers spot (which would be fine as I love the Chargers and don't want to hate them if they move).
Long story short...I believe the Raiders stay in Oakland and/or move to Texas as an outside possibility. I think the dysfunctional ownership of both the Raiders and Niners will keep Harbaugh away from that job.

Jim Mora Jr's wiki page says he is the new UM coach. Check it out:

Could be a prank. But given the news about Harbaugh to Oakland -- could this be our new coach?

I am not sure if this is specifically the post to which the OP refers, but Tim Kawakami's post in the San Jose Mercury News was not exactly hopeful regarding Harbaugh's future in San Francisco - LINK. Actually, not even a glimmer of hope was expressed in this piece. When it came to the quote from the presser, wherein Harbaugh pointed to his "professional future" as a personal priority:
"But at least Harbaugh allowed that his future is somewhat on his mind, as we can all assume that York and general manager Trent Baalke are plotting the team’s future once Harbaugh is gone."
No real thoughts in this post on where he might go - a passing reference to Oakland - but their opinion is that time grows short for Jim with respect to the 49ers.

If there is one department that can spend the cash, it's the Athletic Department. That's why I don't totally dismiss the Sean Payton rumor. NO hasn't done much since their Super Bowl season and they are trending downward fast. Drew Brees is 35 and once he becomes ineffective, they will return to "Aints" status quickly. I'm not on the Payton bandwagon yet, but I believe our next coach's salary will be in the top of 5 of all coaches.

Harbaugh is the only one that knows what he wants to do. If he chooses the NFL I will respect that and if he comes home I would be ecstatic. I am just worried that if he does't come home, the new coach is going to have a hard time winning over the fanbase.

If SF fires Harbaugh, then they are owed nothing (Michigan doesn't have to pay a dime to SF) and in fact, SF would owe Harbaugh money. What's more likely is that Michigan buys out the last year of his contract, allowing SF to part with Harbaugh without having to fire him and also get something of value ($) in return.
