Add JOSH WALLACE to the list of Michigan players declaring for the draft, per his twitter:

Thank you Josh, good luck in the league. You're a NATIONAL CHAMPION.

Yep--give him the Andre Weathers award!

Wallace was an incredible portal pickup for Michigan and his addition locked in one of the last pieces on this defense.
I wasn't sure how good he was after the first game, but he got better and better as he learned the system. Was an absolute baller in the playoffs. Made that fantastic play in the Rosebowl in OT,
This team was full of guys that just made plays at important moments of every game.
Good luck to the kid. Really appreciated how well he played for Team 144, National Champions.

Josh had some lofty expectations, and outperformed them. What a year for him.

Lofty is a stretch, more like his expectations were 'be a serviceable CB opposite our All-american' but yes he did perform well.

Kinda assumed this was the case, I thought he was already out of eligibility.
Despite being very thankful for 6th year Michael Barrett, I can't wait til we're past all the extra years of covid eligibility.

Whelp... looks like next year is a reload year for sure. We'll have to enjoy this afterglow as long as we can because next season will be a transition season.

Depends on some others who haven’t announced. Jim Harbaugh being the biggest key left for sure. If Jim leaves and takes Minter, Herbert and a few other staff with him it’s going to be rebuild time. If Jim comes back along with Don, Moore, Stewart and a few others and they add some portal players, it would be a reload type of year.

Forever grateful, Josh! We were in desperate need of a CB2 and he was perfect. (unfortunate that we find ourselves in the same position this year)
Re-read his Hello post, Alex was pretty spot on. Was also a nice reminder of the Don Brown-UMass connection, where McCrary is also a coach, and that Josh played point guard with Hunter at DeMatha for a year.

I think like most people I heard the word “UMass” and assumed he wouldn’t have the physical tools to compete at the top level. For him to finish the year shutting down Ohio State, Alabama, and Washington and probably getting drafted is beyond my wildest dreams.

Not going to lie, I was a bit nervous. But as I learned more about him and have seen how the staff approaches the transfer portal I should've been more excited for what he was capable of.

Not a surprise with him or most of these guys we need to stop acting like it’s shocking for most. Good luck kid

Good luck Josh, thank you the Natty, and a B1G championships and beating Osu. Thank you for transferring to Uof〽️ and doing an amazing job at CB.

Fantastic job this year, exceeded expectations. Go make some money and win a Super Bowl

My first thought was Jared Wangler was going pro.

Bro balled out and is going to get drafted. He will be forever known as the missing piece for team 144.
