Duncan Robinson drops 23 tonight...

Dude was 7-11 from 3. Consider this--Stauskas is out of the league, GRIII is on his 5th team, Trey Burke and Brazdeikis are inactive, Wilson is a non-factor, and McGary is Big Lebowski-ing somewhere.

Who would have thought that a kid with no Div 1 offers would be one of Michigan's top NBA players. Beilein was the single best coach at talent development.

and/or talent evaluation.

That too

That goes both ways. The OP listed 5 other players whose careers are the opposite of Robinson right now.
The way I remember it, Robinson's Div 3 coach was on his way out then called Beilein to tell him he might want to take a look at this 6'8 guy who can shoot 3s.

All that hard work is paying off for the young man. Keep it up Duncan!!!

We can celebrate Duncan without pooping on the other guys
LeVert has been great, I think Hardaway starts, and GR3 and JP are starters on a team that went to the finals last year (that's all the context you need, do not look further in to this statistic)

I don’t think Ignas has played yet but he did get 2.4 mill guaranteed, although he has to live in NY. NY is struggling and I’m sure he’ll get his chance at some point.

I think everyone knows why GRIII and JP are starting.
November 4th, 2019 at 9:17 AM ^
Hardaway doesn’t start.

Mo is off to a great start with the Wiz as well.

Seriously. Just making a roster and getting paid in the NBA is a huge accomplishment. It's not like Michigan was working with any 5-star one-and-done recruits. The number of 1st Round picks from Michigan during Beilein's tenure was amazing and should be appreciated.
BTW last week the Bucks picked up DJ Wilson's option for next year so his salary is guaranteed until 2021.

Pretty amazing stuff, especially with the context that you gave from his fellow former wolverine contemporaries. Your description of McGary - hilarious ?

Brazdeikis actually played tonight in garbage time. In 4 minutes, he had 4 points and 1 assist on 1-2 shooting and 2-2 FTs

Duncan Robinson is the second best Wolverine in the NBA. I'm ready to say that.
November 3rd, 2019 at 11:04 PM ^
When Jamal Crawford signs, Dunc will have competition for that title.
November 4th, 2019 at 1:09 AM ^
He’s up there in age, but Crawford can still ball

Lavert is clearly the best player now, he's averaging 19/5/4, but Duncan is at a respectable 11/2/1. If he gets more starts, those should go up.
November 3rd, 2019 at 10:54 PM ^
He led the heat in scoring as they beat James Harden and Russ Westbrook and the Rockets
November 3rd, 2019 at 11:27 PM ^
I hope he sent Yaklich a fruit basket, in addition to Belien.... Robinson made the NBA because he became a good defensive player, and Yaklich got it out of him.
November 4th, 2019 at 12:43 PM ^
Yes, who among us saw an NBA future as a "3 and D" guy for Duncan while he was here?
November 3rd, 2019 at 11:40 PM ^
Could have used that against nova in title game.
November 3rd, 2019 at 11:41 PM ^
Did coach B cut Nik from the Cavs this year?
November 4th, 2019 at 2:09 AM ^
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I hope Miami chicks dig the long ball.

Always good to see a Michigan grad thrive.

Is this the same guy that played D3?
