If they switch to a 3-4, I just don't know if they have LB depth behind Davis and the FA's they signed this offseason. I don't know where guys project, but I'd love Mo Hurst and/or Shaq Griffin.
I think they saw SEC Player of the Year and decided to roll the dice. He's a good back, he doesn't have a lot of negatives, but is he good enough to trade picks for? There seems to be a lot of running backs in this class, we could have got one without using picks. Hopefully, the Lions got the steal of the draft, we'll see.

Very happy with the Giants getting Will Hernandez.
Love that. And the Barkley pick. Good to have him on a team I root for instead of torching it.
Sounds like even though he was cleared some teams have taken him completely off their board.
No idea what Vince Young just said for Harold Landry's first name.
Wonderlic
kerryon johnson, RB from auburn.
anybody know this guy?
He's a good player, but he's a RB. Not a high value position. Rush the damn passer.
in headlights? Georgia sucked that night.
Dude, Auburn was a good team and played well. You can't hand-wave away a great game against a great team because it wasn't that great team's greatest game. Maybe Auburn (and Johnson) had something to do with that.
I mean, I'm not a fan of this pick, but Johnson was a terrific player last year.
Okay, as a do over, this is what I could have wrote...
Georgia was 8-0 and ranked number one at that time. The spotlight of college football was on that game, pressure that had been building up every week since the Bulldogs beat the Irish. Georgia wasn't ready for that stage and it showed; Auburn manhandled them. Auburn played inspired, lights out football against the number one team in the land, a team which was unable to play like the number one team in the land. Johnson put up big numbers, but in large part to how his whole team played great while Georgia was not up to the task.
when he is done?

open mic night in dallas
I think you mean someone who has rushed for 100 yards in a game, although I will say we've come close. I believe we got to 94 yards rushing in a game last year, in fact.
That said, Stafford's numbers - I think some folks will agree - are pretty good for someone who has had to suffer behind subpar offensive lines and for someone who has had limited "weapons" on occasion.
Kerryon is for real. Nice pick up
Strong diagree. Dude has thunder feet.

Did they have to hand a 4th rounder to NE to get him though?
