People say he wasn't a big deal for fans to get worked up about, but he seemed like a lower risk option than what Michigan is dealing with. I'll chalk it up to a Drevno transition cost.
Yeah...sumpn wasn't working with Drevno. I listened to Sam's interview yesterday and Calvin Anderson seemed like a really bright kid with his head screwed on right. We will have to make do with what we have. I'm sure hoping that Shea is able to play as I'm not convinced that Peters will take us to the promised land. Perhaps if he weren't about to get killed on every play, things would improve, but Harbaugh was not in a hurry to put him in after Speight was injured.
Many of us are just over hope and potential. We want wins, specifically against our rivals. Until that happens folks will remain salty.
Does that mean Shea ineligible?? When are we going to know? umbig11
It means no message other than the title.
It's just a style thing some people do.

Thanks. I didn't know what it meant either.
Definition of asterisk
- But the men's triumph came with an asterisk: The Soviets, three-time gold medalists, had boycotted the Games.
- —Brad Young
It means he was always staying home. But he wanted a little attention and the fun of being courted by famous coaches. Can't say I blame him.

but you can't blame him for checking out other options, especially if he was being pursued by UM, etc.
Any speculation or rumors on other graduate transfers? If I remember correctly, there were some murmurs about a possible transfer from an SEC school.
Yeah Dudek sucks. At least the Tuoti, Gwen Bush, Fisch, Wheatley staff could get results. Now we have a bunch of washed up Florida, Browns, and Lions guys like Pep Hamilton, Jim Mcelwain, and Ron Prince.
Dudek hasn't been the problem.
Dudek is the on-campus guy who plans visits and shows kids around when they're in Ann Arbor. Players love him.
At least he didn't say it was about the engineering program.
Not a surprise
Wake me up when this staff can land a key OL piece.
Mobile, agile, hostile.
What we need is not some magic solution to drop into our laps, but for our coaches to get our talented players up to their potential. I'm excited to see what Warinner does with our young guys!
How many years of eligibility does Warriner have left?
All of them, baby!
Both had good credentials coming to UM. And, Bosch, Fox, Kalis, Kugler, Dawson, LTT, etc. were all great prospect that never panned out. For whatever reason OL has been our achilles heel despite a bunch of quality prospects and coaches. I think a lot of folks want to believe that and at times do, but have just seen too many disapointments.
Maybe it wasn't the coaching but the strength and conditioning of said linemen.
I've seen plenty of good strength coaches make a positive impact on football players, but I've never seen one take a good player and make them worse.
Bredeson, Ruiz and Onwenu certainly qualify as key OL pieces. We'll soon find out if Hudson and Stueber do as well.
That interior is going to maul people. Assuming Shea is eligible, his mobility will mask some of the issues we may potential have at tackle. I am not too worried.
We even have depth with Spanellis.
