Roy Roundtree: WR coach @ Miami (OH)
Looks like he has been working his way through the ranks, coaching in Div. 2 and some FCS teams. I could see Mr. Roundtree ending up back representing the block M.

Congrats Roy. I was there September 11, 2011! What a game!

I was there also with my youngest daughter and we were in the first row and it was RIGHT in front of us, and in certain pics and video clips I can see us losing our collective minds in joy!!!

Never forget

IIRC, that was the game where I saw the Stars & Stripes themed Michigan hat, which I promptly purchased!

GREAT is an understatement.
That was the most incredible last 1:34 I have ever seen for Michigan.

That's great, would love to see Roy continue to succeed as he climbs the coaching ladders.
Got to appreciate Roy Roundtree, he gave us some wonderful highlights while playing during the dark ages of 21st century Michigan Football.

I try not to remember those dark times too much. But you had some good dudes at Michigan in those times. Martavious Odoms and Vincent Smith with the #EATING gardens in Pahokee. Denard. I believe Mr. Odoms and Mr. Smith posted here in those times as well. I'm know I'm missing a bunch, but it's good to see some in that group continue in football and succeed.

I have this memory that we flipped Roundtree from Purdue on signing day, or the day before it. And Joe Tiller was pissed. Called us snake oil salesmen. How quaint.

Love me some Roy Roundtree. And nice to see him coaching close to home.

Surprised he’s not a snake oil salesman /s

I mean, not a lot of snakes buy oil so it’s a limited market /s

A lesser known highlight from the dark ages featuring Roy (and some clapping):

Scoring 75 yd TDs in the Toilet Seat before it was cool - what a hipster!

It was pretty cool when Tai Streets did it

Wow I didn't realize Lathan Ransom has been at Ohio St for that long

Got a Drew Dileo shout out in Roy’s TD! We did have a number of talented individuals during the dark ages. Coaches just couldn’t put a whole team together,

NNTM? I hope he excels!

Remember losing my mind when he caught that. Like most of us, I was grabbing on to any positive momentum the team would have only to watch it evaporate in October / November

I saw that from the student section--the opposite side of the field.

Good Job Roy. TW's Finest!!!

any reason to go watch Roys highlight reel of unconscious catches from Denard is a good one in my books. This is that
Good luck to him and thanks for the joy

Congrats. Some pretty solid coaches came through The Miami. See you in AA in a yr or two?

Congrats to him and glad he's working up the ranks. Could definitely see him on the sidelines at UM at some point before Harbaugh inevitably plucks him for the NFL.

RoundTree story time (I love Roundtree):
One time Roy Roundtree and a teammate (I can't remember who) were in my friends room in a frat house, we were partying and playing NCAA on Xbox. Roundtree played as Michigan and every single play called a deep post to himself. He connected on a few of them. Each time he score he just kept saying "Tree City... Tree City!" I remember it like it was yesterday. Shoutout Roundtree

Funny story about Mr. Roundtree to echo other posters, he hung out with my roommate a lot during our junior year after practice. He hated watching ESPN because he said he got enough of watching game film all week. What did we watch instead? Nickelodeon. Myyyy mannnn.

I still think the offense during the dark ages was very entertaining.

Good for him. Bet Roy is an excellent WR Coach.
