Lose to Notre Dame to start the year in a frustrating low scoring game because the offense isn't clicking yet, sending the Mgoboard into a meltdown.
We struggle and win ugly the next two weeks and things get pretty bad in the media and fanbase. Then we come out and absolutely blast Nebraska, the offense starts clicking around that point and everything is looking good.
We beat PSU and Wisconsin at home but we shockingly lose at MSU due to some combination of injuries, turnovers, and some sort of insane weather conditions.
Blah blah blah Harbaugh can't beat his rivals, we go to Columbus and win with Patterson throwing for 300+ and 4 TDs in a game that will be remembered forever as a Michigan classic. Also I rewatch this game roughly 473 times waiting for next season to start.
Well, I forgot to factor in the GRFC penalty curse. When we lose to a team in penalties they go on to win the entire competition. Therefore I would like to congratulate Duluth on their upcoming national championship!
As a GRFC fan I have watched both of these teams play and I would say Ann Arbor is a heavy favorite. I mean no disrespect to Duluth, they did beat us fair and square, but this is Ann Arbor's to lose.
