Engaged to a Fourth Generation Buckeye

High school sweetheart comes from a family of Buckeyes. Both of her parents went to OSU, her grandpa went to OSU, and her grandpa's dad went to OSU. To make matters worse, her dad works for OSU and the better part of her extended family live in Columbus. We go to her aunt's lake house a few fall saturdays out of the year, where I can count on getting a bunch of crap. The banter is usually playful, but it is hard not to call them out on their feaux fanhood. The fiance and I have come to an agreement that if we were to ever have children, the boys would be Wolverines and the girls will be Buckeyes (but I still wouldn't go down without a fight).

Personal Top Choices

1. Harbaugh - Because.... obviously

2. Les Miles - Proven winner in the toughest division in college football. Somewhat concerned about his effectiveness as a recruiter outside of the south.

4. Gary Patterson - Rumors that he turned the job down already, but the man can coach with the best of em. Made TCU a perennial contender.

4. Tom Herman - Offensive genius (literally). Plus, it would be nice to steal such a valuable asset from our rivals.

5. Pat Narduzzi - Defensive guru. Develops talent. Michigan recruiting ties. Not sure how realistic this one is?

5237. Schiano - Do not want. I understand he somewhat turned around a bad Rutgers program, but we need a winner.

Winning Culture

This attitude reflects very poorly on Brady Hoke and his staff. Great coaches bring a winning culture to their programs and make their players believe they are going to win each game (Urbz, Saban, Dantonio). Example: Urban Meyer takes over Luke Fickell's 6-7 team and establishes winning culture where the players actually believe they are better than they are. The next season this same team goes 12-0. Michigan needs a winner. If he has Michigan ties, even better. There needs to be a culture change in Ann Arbor and I do not see Hoke getting it done.
