I am not saying that he is leaving however don't you remember during the Indiana game they were interviewing Les Miles on tv. Les said he wanted to get back into coaching and was already assembling a staff. I haven't heard of him interviewing for one opening yet. I think he was only mentioned for the Houston job not interviewed (I may be wrong on that). Maybe Les is waiting for the Michigan job if Jim leaves.
Herbstreit is a total class act! He is one of my favorite announcers and one of the best in the business.I love to see Michigan beat OSU but he and many former Buckeye players represent their alma mater and Buckeye nation very well. We should respect them. Go Blue
I have quit watching the NFL because of what they will and won't let go. I think it is very disgraceful to fine a player that wants to honor the people that have lost their lives in the 9/11 tragedy by wearing certain paraphernalia yet do nothing to players that disrespect our flag.
You mentioned the "fab 5" for the o-line. Juwan Howard seemed to be the moving force for the basketball fab 5 to get together. Is there a "Juwan Howard" in this fold that is trying to get the o-line together? If so, who and how hard is he working on the other 4?
The kid from Az where he spent the night and went to his school (Brophy I think) and sat in one his classes chose USC over UM. And I believe his brother played for him at Stanford.
Msu dominated that game until they took their foot off the pedal. Let's just hope Notre Dame was overrated (Which may be the case seeing that Texas lost to Cal).Early in the season though,so many things can and will take place before the game gets here.
What about Kareem Walker? Right now we have Smith @ rb1 Isaac @2 (probably) Drake Johnson @ rb3 (maybe) and Higdon. 2 and 3 could switch depending on Johnson's health. Drake has had bad luck on staying healthy. Peppers is occasional also but can't wear him out too much he is too valuable on defense. 5-10 plays at most a game. Depending on the situation
Teams that play in cold and bad weather game plans change as the weather does (more conservative). Whereas teams that play in warm weather can keep the pedal to he metal all year. So when they face off at the end of the year in a warm weather state,the warm weather team has an advantage. Just from playing the same game style all year

Look at their regular season records,bowl records and how quick they win when starting with a new team. Dantonio has a better winning % than Saban did at Msu. Meyer could be (arguably) the best coach at every school he was at. Time will tell with Osu,he has a lot of work to catch Woody
Urban has proven to be the best coach in college football. He wins immediately everywhere he goes. I don't see Michigan dominating this series even with Harbaugh.50% would be great. Go blue!
