Hahaha, you have lost your…

Hahaha, you have lost your damn mind if after watching Saturday's game you think an upset of Ohio is even in the realm of possibilities! We just got torched by f****** Rocky Lombardi and true freshman Ricky White who committed to MSU over MAC schools... what do you think Heisman frontrunner Fields and his quartet of 5* WRs that all run around 4.4 will do to our secondary that appears to be running in quicksand?! We will come out flat against them. Like we always do. They will come out fired up. Like they always do. They could legitimately hang 70+ on our defense with ease...

Well, Mattison's tenure as…

Well, Mattison's tenure as DC sure lasted long... hope it was worth it douchebag!!

I take it you didn't realize…

I take it you didn't realize he said "we're not not trying to be explosive" therefore the title is incredibly misleading. He is trying to say that it's not like they aren't trying to explosive out there, because of defensive adjustments they just aren't. I don't like it, I don't like it all actually but he didn't come out and say they aren't trying to be explosive as the title implies...

Says the guy trying to be…

Says the guy trying to be funny in an RIP thread. An entire families lives are in ruins you tool and yet you have jokes. You’re so cool, do you man.

Are you fucking serious dude…

Are you fucking serious dude?! Seriously not the time nor the thread to try and be funny douche.

Honestly, this entire post…

Honestly, this entire post excites me and it has absolutely nothing to do with Karan. Congrats to him, I am glad to see him excelling and in many cases exceeding expectations. That should go a long ways to helping his draft stock rise some and I wish him all the best in the NFL and hope he finds a good landing spot.

But let's be real, Justice is absolutely tearing it up and Dax is said to already be faster and more twitchy/athletically freakish than his brother! Justice running a 4.4 and having a 40" vert lends total credence to Dax running in the 4.3's and being in that 43" vert range. Kid is going to be fun to watch and his brothers combine performance should only add to the excitement of watching his career unfold here!!

By no means am I crapping on…

By no means am I crapping on him, all I said was that I didnt think this would be something that would be a tragic loss to the team. He was a good player, far from great, that had ability and was never fully utilized properly. But there’s talent in that room to make up for his loss. If not completely replace him immediately. Let’s also not forget he began losing carries to a walk-on for a reason. He was never going to be an every down back therefore the loss of a change of pace guy isn’t the end of the world. I’ve been a firm believer that Charbonnet would be RB1 by week 5 from the second he committed anyways...

^^^^^^ this exactly! Don’t…

^^^^^^ this exactly! Don’t bring his numbers as a whole to the table and try and act like they happened in games that mattered. Sure he went off like he was supposed to against Hawaii and the likes... hooray!! He had more than 70 yards rushing in B1G play five times, once against Minnesota when the entire team ran wild on them, twice against Rutgers which almost shouldn’t even count, and once against both Purdue and Penn St in games that weren’t competitive. Turners run that was called back against Florida in the bowl game was more explosive than anything Evans has shown in over a year. Go ahead and be in the “sky is falling” crowd, I won’t be and will gladly welcome in the new regime if he is in fact gone. If he’s back, the more the merrier. However it’s not make or break my dude.

While I do think his loss…

While I do think his loss will be significant early on from a leadership standpoint, I’m not going to be one of those people that say this is going to be a significant impact on the field. As it’s been said throughout these comments he just hasn’t had the same shiftiness and acceleration since his freshman season. He’s shown spurts and sure last years hamstring didn’t help but it’s not like he’s been that big play waiting to happen guy everyone thought he’d be. En lieu of his absence I honestly feel like Turner can be the exact player Evans would’ve been this year if not add that same element back to the offense that Evans hasn’t shown in a while. Kid looked like he could be pretty special in the bowl game if given a little room.

On top of this, this only seems to force the issue with airing it out more. Gattis wants to spread the ball around and he will almost have to if breaking in some young RBs and luckily we have the talent and depth out wide and in the QB room to make this a viable alternative. This is where the offense was headed, or supposedly headed, anyways and now it has to happen. His loss will be felt in some aspect I just don’t see it being on the field. Charbonnet will surprise and Turner will take over his role seamlessly. Maybe. Hopefully. Lol

I didn't realize Cris…

Also doesn't hurt that Gattis has experience recruiting the state as well having just landed a 5* DE for Bama from North Jersey. I know it doesn't mean the state becomes a sure fire slam dunk from a recruiting standpoint but I would be pretty shocked if we don't start gaining some serious clout in that state once again. A North Jersey to AA pipeline would be a beautiful thing, Go Blue!!

It should be noted that…

It should be noted that Fleming came out and said that Gattis going to Michigan was "a program changer" following the announcement of the hire. He has been 100% CBd to Penn St for some time now but that dates back to when Gattis was still in Happy Valley and he was the lead recruiter there. Jumps to Bama and was his lead recruiter there as well so we can safely assume the two have a good relationship and he will take lead here. Hell, I wouldn't be shocked if they've already spoken considering less than a week ago Fleming was talking about setting up a time to visit us with his next visit.

Gattis can flat out recruit receivers, he's shown it at every stop he's been so this paired with Fleming's comments shows all signs pointing up here! Now all we need is proven results shown on the field and we could really start rolling. Go Blue!!

In the event Harbaugh looks…

In the event Harbaugh looks to make moves within, which we all know he does, and then add some analyst of some sort I could see him moving Partridge back down to LB which he coached previously and focused on in HS and then bringing on Bush Sr full time to coach Safeties. Obviously he would still need to bring on a DL coach but this scenario wouldn't be all that bad if he can make a sexy hire at DL. Bush Sr played DB in the pros so he knows his stuff and would add some serious recruiting prowess in Florida.

I think Elston is everyone's top choice for DL and he would immediately upgrade the staff. Great coach and great recruiter. Check and check! Apart from him I don't really know where to turn but I've seen Woodley mentioned here a few times and that would certainly be intriguing if he was up for it.

If he holds pat with where the coaches are aligned and looks to bring on DL and LB then the above DL coaches would work here and to pull Manning or Foote would certainly be a coup. I don't know Manning's recruiting acumen or how Woodley or Foote would hold up in this sense but they are and have always been great ambassadors of the program so I am confident they could sell Michigan as a solid place especially with the network they've already created for themselves. Go Blue!

^^^^^^^^^ This right here!

^^^^^^^^^ This right here!

I honestly think everyone is…

I honestly think everyone is jumping to extreme conclusions here with Harrison. We lost and we lost bad to our main competition in the race for his services but the fact that even Bill Greene (their Sam Webb) CBd him to Michigan can't be understated or overlooked. We have clearly taken over the lead in the recruitment and if anything the loss just gave him some pause, pause that will cleared up and squared away with Mattison's in home visit today.

And please stop referencing the kid as being a "tough pull because he's from Columbus" because anyone who has followed his recruitment should know he's originally from Chicago and has zero ties to the program! Yes he lives there, and he has serious fanboys in his ears 247, and yet he still hasn't committed. If he was going to go there wouldn't he have just committed by now instead of putting himself through what can't be an enjoyable process down there? If anything he's beginning to deal with their fanboys turning on him left and right. Read any of their message boards and they all slam him because "he's going to be a bust" and "he doesn't belong there anyways." Let's not start behaving the same way because its talents like him that we need to turn the program all the way around, and I for one still believe he wants to be here. Go Blue!

All of this write up is…

All of this write up is perfection!!

Halftime: 10-7 Ohio, because naturally.

Final: 41-17 Go Blue! Team comes out pissed off in the second half as they did against Wisky and Penn St and runs away it in the third quarter. Higdon and Black both score from 50+ and Haskins throws a pick 6 to Long in the fourth quarter to put it to bed. I know I’m probably wrong, but oh how I pray I am right!!

Wish nothing but the best…

Wish nothing but the best for this young man, really seems like a good kid but probably saw the writing on the wall. We are about to close out this class strong, especially if Brohm bolts, and playing time was not something he would see much of unless he surprised many. Not saying he wouldn’t, but certainly would’ve been tough.

Last line says it all for me…

Last line says it all for me, time for them to actually see a competent D!

Hahaha I’ve been following…

Hahaha I’ve been following mgoblog for years now and just created an account today so I felt I had to make a memorable entrance.

However all jokes aside, Sam really isn’t one to throw out a CB of that magnitude without having some very good intel. He said he had several sources indicate Harrison was coming but wouldn’t divulge what he learned until the commitment was made public, for obvious reasons I’m sure we can all understand. Now today Harrison shows up in the directory? Coincidence? I think not!

After seeing Sam Webb’s…

After seeing Sam Webb’s article on 247 yesterday regarding his CB of Harrison to the good guys I have to believe this may have something to do with some of his “I’ll explain more when he announces in the coming days or weeks” comment. Sam isn’t one to throw his balls around out of hope, the man knows what’s happening in front of him and goes balls deep when the feeling is right!! Go Blue!!!
