What an amazing journey! Kudos to the hard-working staff that put the trip together. In the second hype video, Abigail talked about the meticulous planning needed just for the meals. Seems as if they even planned for unexpected interruptions like bad weather. And to see alumni everywhere they went supporting the team and giving them a glimpse of future possibilities besides football. This should be shown to every recruit as further inducement to choose Michigan and become one of the leaders and the best.
Very interesting and entertaining article, thanks for the time and effort! If you want to do a part three, perhaps you could break it down by individual players (or by offensive coach). Would be interesting to see how each player evolves and if we can see the improvement that our coaches have made in the players.
JJ was tight, but he didn't make the atrocious play calls! As soon as they botched that opening drive I felt a disappointing day coming on. If the defense played Georgia like they did TCU we would have gotten another whooping from the Bulldogs. I am beginning to think Harbaugh prepares for bowl games like his mentor Bo. Don't get me wrong, I love Harbaugh as our coach and stuck by him during the Covid year, even deleting a couple of friends who were pushing for him to be fired, but he needs to step up for the end games like he did for TTDS.
I have to go with Penn Station as my favorite. Jersey Mike's and Firehouse are tied for second. Subway deserves to rot in hell for their Jerrod connection. Plus they really seemed to scrimp on ingredients and the bread was stale last time I went there. I know the topic is subs, but Penn gets bonus points for their fries!
Another OT but The Athletic has a good story today on Alan Bowman's transition from Michigan to Oklahoma State. Seems he was headed to Baylor until Sherrone Moore hooked him up with the Cowboys just one day before the portal closed.
