IF Texas wins this game, does Mack Brown become the lousy coach with an otherwise talented team that does just the bare minimum required to keep his job?
I think "where's the threat" may become the new spartan catch phrase. Hopefully they make it to the rose bowl so that Oregon can crush them. or you, either way it doesn't matter. You all will lose and my team is the best.
Is it really that hard to admit that Saban may very well be the greatest college football coach of all time? I can't even believe I'm reading this level of argue net from you people right now.
Their model is awesome for producing wins on the football field. Why do you care whether or not the players actually have to go to class? Do you have some sort of vested interest in them as individuals? I don't see why that concerns you.
The fact that such key guys got significantly dinged up in the first game and in such a wallop bodes poorly for the remainder of the season. I mean, Denard basically picked up where he left off in the Suger Bowl and now the big oh no on the oline has happened in game one! Jesus...
he will not be able to deliver that level of performance on a regular basis but if he does something similar week in and week out and the win a rose bowl expect to see him on the short list.
Much like Denard, great early unsustainable individual effort but ultimately removed from Heismen conversation due to limitations of the team.
Oakland isn't that thuggish. They just get singled out because they are far more black and have more crime than SF, it has a racist undertone but of course nobody wants to admit that.
But that's essentially what you are doing if you sat two personals and you are out. I guess you could frame it differently for the purists but I agree with the general principle.
Like soccer where if egregious enough the card system is used. It would have to be a very bad offense though. I don't think that hit would qualify. Not flagrant enough.
If so, you will absolutely get on TV and I would wager sports center as well. You might even get mentioned in subsequent press coverage. This is worth the risk.
I would come out running a combination of pro-style and inside zone type concepts (using a backfield combo of Robinson and Norfleet) to play off of the inexperience of Bama's defense playing against that type of offense. It's a huge gamble but I think it will take a big gamble to beat Bama.
I think having 3 true frosh and a RS frosh on the 2 deep is awesome. Think about it, these guys will be battle hardened soldiers in several years time from all of the playing time they get now. Sucks for this year but probably increases the liklihood of several championship runs down the line
ideally. Fitz would have come clean with Hoke as to what really happened and Hoke would have lain out a plan for him in terms of redeeming himself at that point. Don't see why the legal reprocussions would have made any difference under those circumstances

looking good on pass plays and option. Taking a page out of A&M book

Although, if he keeps playing like that, his draft stock might take a big hit and then the B1G will have to deal with him for another year.
USC will win that shoot out for sure!
Since from what I've seen thus far it's very likely that they will both blow your doors off when you all play.
He would have been hurt and Michigan would have won maybe 3 games this season

you sound pathetic with your rationalizations of " a few three and outs" move on man. Stop trying to cling to false realities.
you all suck also, SC is the best

Love my Trojans but Kiffin is a scumbad and Hoke is all class.
