So you listen to Finebaum's So you listen to Finebaum's radio program? Even if you're taking "click bait" at its most literal use, there is plenty to click on...His employer ESPN posted Internet stories about this citing "sources" as well and click-able stories about Sabans subsequent comments on this. There are podcasts to click on. There are snippets of his show to click on. Plus there is all other web content from other entities crediting ESPN's Paul Finebaum and his sources. So, yes, there was plenty of click bait created to keep Finebaum relevant (including this thread). It was an unsubstantiated rumor purposefully floated out there by Finebaum without any credible sources to elicite a response by two rabid fan bases. Mission accomplished.
Dr James Andrews performed Dr James Andrews performed Braxton's surgery. Braxton has gone down 3 times for follow ups to make sure the rehab is both on track and accurate. Dr Andrews office is in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr Andrews is also the team doctor for Alabama, Auburn and the Washington Redskins. Additionally, Braxton's very close childhood friend is Trey DePriest who is an LB for Alabama. They have hung out when Braxton came to see Dr Andrews. Que up Finebaums click bait vagaries about Braxton eyeballing Alabama football. Editor's note: A source said I may actually be Braxton Miller typing in 3rd person.

We beat the 96 Detroit We beat the 96/97 Detroit Country Day team that had Battier and Webbers little brother. They came down and played us, Toledo St John's, at Savage Hall in Toledo. DCD was leading by 26 at half and we came back and beat them on a last second 3. It was the most unreal game I had ever seen. http://m.toledoblade.com/local/2010/12/27/Blade-basketball-tourney-retu…

Not racist. It's a fairly Not racist. It's a fairly popular meme from Winstons post game interview from his title game. Your comment reads like you're of the opinion I am Caucasian. Regardless, peace be with you MGlobules.
Jimbo got rid of the pleats, Jimbo got rid of the pleats, that's good. But is that a black belt with a navy shirt!? Aaahhhhh! Have any of the shops in Ann Arbor cashed in and started selling KH4KIS yet?
Jim Jackson not in the Jim Jackson not in the starting 5 was a miss. Having Fundurburke in over Jerry Lucas was a article ender for me...didn't need to see anymore after that.
Winston thinks yall will be Winston thinks yall will be "skrong den."
Pretty solid move by Pretty solid move by Harbaugh. Even if Jim isnt talking to these guys beyond how to manage their Twitter accounts, it is still a crafty move to create a mystique as a QB guru. The guy has yet to coach a snap at his current job and has already been stirring the pot, drumming up visibility and working to mold his image amongst the recruiting world. Kim Kardashian made a pretty lucrative career alerting the papperazzi to her whereabouts and splashing those pictures across many media platforms. Jim must have been paying attention out there on the west coast. I kid, I kid. But honestly, good effort by Harbaugh to establish the QB street cred in an otherwise down time in the CFB world.
Good news for you - Beau Good news for you - Beau Bishop mysteriously and promptly left his radio gig. Harbaugh must have shut him up first order of business.
No, it's something you are No, it's something you are obligated to say per your conract with Adidas (or Addidas as Harbaughs kid calls it).
Your comments on Wally Pipp's Your comments on Wally Pipp and his son are interesting to me. Wally Pipp's grandson is a Jesuit Priest and a teacher at Toledo St John's Jesuit. I graduated from there in 1999 and Fr. Pipp was easily in his mid 50's, early 60s at that time. Fr Pipp spoke of his grandfather Wally, told us some stories, and even showed us some memorabilia. Anyhow, Wallys grandson, one of our teachers and priests, was a great guy. A very good teacher and kind man. He went out of his way to help any kids who needed it and was known for his guidance. An interesting contrast to your comments on Wally and his son.
Since you asked...I think Since you asked... I think Meyer knew Drayton was and/or had interviewed - but has to keep on keeping on since this happens every year with his assistants and many ultimately stay put. Drayton has interviewed in the past (HC at Temple, etc) and then stayed at OSU. Similar to us working stiffs interviewing for a job, we dont fully disclose that type of information until the new gig is a done deal. Again, I think Meyer knew Drayton interviewed but I dont think Drayton was coming back and reporting his vibes from the interview or "oh man, I nailed that interview, better find my replacement." With that being said, I dont know of an off season that at least one of Urban's assistants didnt get poached. Because of that, I think Meyer is always keeping tabs on what other coaches are out there, especially his old friends/ties. If you listen to Urban speaking up to and through Wednesday, it sure as hell sounds as though he was anticipating his staff intact as is. On Drayton's end, I like to think that he didnt fully know where he stood on signng day eve and was still out there recruiting as though he would still be at OSU - as there was a good chance he may be. Once Meyer heard for sure, I think he likely got his pay scale from Gene Smith and then called Alford, his old buddy, for the 3rd time. On Alford's end, when Urban calls with a raise, a stable of stud RB's, a deep O-Line, and a national championship squad returning almost everyone - you listen intently. Plus, it is a fact that Urban's assistants are far more upwardly mobile than Brian Kelly's. Also, I would imagine working for Brian Kelly is no joy ride. It was a no brainer, this time. Anyhow, we still dont fully know what happened when and never will. All Weber tweeted was that he was hurt. It became a dramawhen the Cass Tech coach blew it up on the radio. It sure seems that it was a calculated move to close that gate for his old buddy Jim Harbaugh. The perfect out to rid Cass of OSU and not look like youre denying your kids of all their best options. The situation, in my mind, is further muddied by Weber's secret visit to UM, his comments about being off put by Michigan recruiting and singing another RB and also his mom making statements yesterday at how poorly the Michigan contingent treated them. Regardless of your opinion on the recruitment, perception is reality -true or not - and I think OSU has nabbed their last two Cass players in this class. Sounds like whatever pipeline was being established for us at Cass Tech is now destroyed. Also, I hope for the sake of our program, that is Weber want out of his LOI, we freely grant him that. I would love to have him but not under false pretenses (if thats the case) and disgruntled. We have a deep backfield and also Kareem Walker the #1 RB in 2016 on board...and yes, Kareem has already tweeted that he loves the Alford hire.
Understandable response from Understandable response from the Michigan contingent... However, Meyer has known Alford for nearly 30 years now. Meyer has twice tried to hire Alford prior to this, both were obviously declined. Drayton's departure did appear to catch Meyer off guard, relative to the shape his other hires at OSU have taken. The guy has a pretty large coaching tree and his assistants are often poached. But yes, word on the streets of Columbus is that the Cass Tech coach did approve of this hire before the offer was made. /s

Nah, this is great. Harbaugh Nah, this is great. Harbaugh is stirring up the rivalry without having coached a single snap yet. Taking each opportunity to throw a jab. This is one of the things I was looking forward to when yall hired this guy. I love where his head is at...dont think Urban hasnt been sent this 9894289432892384 times today. 11/28/15 is going to be INTENSE. In the words of Bart Scott, "CAINT WAIT"
