I actually like the blue…

I actually like the blue pants.  My unpopular opinion is that they should add a logo to the jerseys.  They look fine on the players, but when I see fans wearing them, they look completely generic.  I'd be pissed if I bought a $100+ authentic jersey and people had to ask me what team I was repping.

UM 16 - 56 OSU.  I'll be out…

UM 16 - 56 OSU.  I'll be out of town for this game, thankfully, to celebrate our anniversary in Kyoto.  This is a decent 10-1 Michigan team, considering the limitations we have on the roster.  But I've witnessed the absolute HORROR of better Michigan teams get absolutely prison raped by Ohio State year in and year out.  I've seen it enough times over the years that I refuse to be suckered by the hype this year.

With that, GO BLUE!!!  I hope for a good bowl game.

I understand why they went…

I understand why they went with Cade all year.  We have better the better horses in most of our games.  Protect the ball, do enough to win.  Here we are.  But it will not be a successful gameplan against OSU.  The only way we stay in that game through 3 quarters to give ourselves a fighting chance, is by throwing haymakers all game and connecting on most.  Unfortunately, that's not this team.  But I'm excited about the future, especially with the QB talent and the receiving corps we have coming back.

To me, it's not a question…

To me, it's not a question of whether Cade could have made that throw.  It's a question of whether he would have even went for it.  I don't think so.

Right after Gary Barta said…

Right after Gary Barta said we were the more complete team, I knew this team was going to come out today and prove the committee wrong in embarrassing fashion.

Since when does Michigan…

Since when does Michigan ever play well in adverse weather conditions, outside ONE game against Notre Dame in 2019?

I haven't seen a single one…

I haven't seen a single one of these talking head bitch-fests about the ranking EVEN MENTION the Purdue loss.  Which I think is JUST AS IMPORTANT as the 4 pt loss head to head.  It's absolute insanity to completely ignore the Purdue game, just to focus on the head to head.  And the fact that the committee chairman didn't bring it up either, only fuels the fire.  Head to head, it was within a touchdown.  MSU got blown off the field by an UNRANKED PURDUE TEAM!!!  I understand that head to head games should matter, but so should their complete implosion against a team, according to their ranking, should have demolished.

I could've swore I heard…

I could've swore I heard Jerry DiNardo say Michigan was the most complete team in the league the other night on the Final Drive.

So don't accept it. …

So don't accept it.  Michigan hasn't done shit for most of the past 70 years.  Consider the fact that, out of all our best coaches in that time, Lloyd split a national title one year.  You want to take a risk, I say we already have, twice.  And what I'm telling you is that no athletic director is going to fire an 8-1 head coach in favor of another risk.  Remember when we thought coaches would fall over themselves to come take this job?  Reality paints a different picture, especially for a program so delusional, they'd fire a winning coach.  I think your emotions have run so high, you've gone retarded.  There are a small handful of guys that could come into Ann Arbor and be successful against OSU within 3 years.  I say 3, because as history has taught us with Rich Rod, 3 is the limit. This idea that Michigan is so elite, we'd fire a 10-3 coach is pure delusion.  Most D-1A programs would love to have what we have, and the administration is not going to trade winning seasons in to risk another RR or Brady Hoke.  It's just not going to happen.  I'm not defending Jim Harbaugh, either, I'm just saying that it's senseless to create controversy over his job when he clearly has job security.  It only hurts recruiting.

Not counting 2020, Jim…

Not counting 2020, Jim Harbaugh has been quite successful and is going to keep his job.  Can he beat Ohio State?  No.  But no Michigan coach has in nearly 20 years.  Will we ever win a B1G Championship?  Not unless Ohio State trips over Purdue, Iowa, or PSU in a single season.  Ohio State loses trap games, they do NOT lose to Michigan.  If we ever win another conference championship in the next decade, it will be because Ohio State has a bad year.  Hang your hat on the fact that Jim wins the games he should most of the time.  Same as Lloyd Carr.  You keep protesting for a new coaching staff, you'll end up back in dog fights with teams like Illinois every season and nearly dropping games to MAC teams, missing bowl games.  Some of you are way too nearsighted with your vision to the past.  And that past wasn't even that long ago.

Cade favors the safer throws…

Cade favors the safer throws and the check downs.  The first half of the season, he seemed way more concerned with preventing INTs.  He also doesn't have the best vision downfield, and seems to not see open receivers 15+ yards downfield.  Or he does see them, but prefers the 5 yard out route instead.  He's gotten better through the season, but his vision and decision making remains questionable.  This is accentuated when the defense is clogging routes when the field is shorter in red zone situations, forcing us to lean on the run.  We become predictable and can't convert, so we settle for points.  That's my theory.
