I know exactly what you're talking about! My girlfiend lives in uptown so Malai is really close. Haven't gotten the ginger bird there, but I will now that you've recommended it.
Sadly, Gingerbird is just my nickname on account of my being a ginger (not really sure where the bird part comes from though).
I have a friend in NJ who follows local recruiting there and he tells me the more notable recruits (Gary, Walker, etc.) in the state all have some trusted family friend who is the main person that helps/guides them through their recruiting process.
For reference, I've been reading mgoblog daily for years, but never really post anything. This just happens to be one of those rare things I heard through the grapevine. Don't know the guys name, but anyone else heard the same about NJ football recruits?
