Sounds like you are the only one allowed to have an opinion on the topic. He is entitled to speak his mind on the subject the same as you and I especially considering he was in their shoes once.
I am one that does not agree with the players being paid to play regardless of the money they bring in for the university. I believe that the education, experience, network, etc. is payment enough. I wish I could have used football as payment for my college education.
Some of the radio personalities have made statements regarding O'Korn being the starter this year if he was able to play. This could be coach speak but wouldn't then make much sense burning a redshirt on Shane.
Shelby, Macomb, and Rochester. Rochester or Oakland county in general has higher taxes so you can get more home for your dollars in Shelby or Macomb. These locations are a little further east but get you close to Lake St. Clair if you are interested in boating a big lake.
He will be a senior at Novi CC, 6' 5" 280, elite strength benched 225 18 times as a junior, very athletic running a 5.0 40 yard dash, has the pedigree as his grandfather and uncle both played at UM and his dad at the Naval Academy.
By the way his senior season will only be the third year he has played football, tremendous upside.
I believe this is the reason UM & The Harbaugh team released the potential contract information to the press.
It was meant to scare away any teams looking to trade for Jim's services. Appears to be a genius move at this point to ensure we get to enjoy the reunion on Jan 1st.
I think it is better for him to stay silent in case Harbaugh doesn't take the offer. This way you have plausible deniability when speaking with other candidates and the media.

I just don't see him as the guy. They need someone who can make a guy miss and he is not that guy.
