Now I don't claim to speak for Herm, but I sure as hell feel as though the older men on this board are discriminated against. Usually I'm not one for making a ruckus about getting my "feelings" hurt, but I've had about enough of getting guff because I wasn't born in the past 60 years. When I was a young man we had respect for our elders.
I don't understand "twitter," either. It's a new generation of narcissism that the kids and those who think themselves important have. It used to be that if you were going to say this stuff to anyone you would go up to them and say it, and then fist fight them if they didn't like it. The internet has turned people into "macho men tough guys" even though you bet your ass I could still whoop them in a game of face punch.
Winning your conference does matter. I don't get you younger crowd. I want to beat the rest of the Big Ten every time in every sport. To hell with the rest of the country until championship time rolls around.
