For me the easiest way to

For me the easiest way to figure out this QB situation is to look at history.  Harbaugh played for Bo, he had to wait his time to become the starter. This pattern under Bo did lead to many wins. After JH left, there was some shaky at best Qb's at Michigan util Elvis entered the building. Even during  the Carr years,  Qb's stayed on the bench until at least their second year but mostly their junior year.  Greise kept Brady on the bench, Brady and Henson went back and forth a bit but really Henson only got consistent starts when Brady struggled and he did struggle. Which I feel is one of the reasons Henson lost his desire to be at Micihgan long haul and went to the minors.  Carr had Mallett in place to replace Henne but when he retired, Mallett left and that is when this long march of Qb madness started. I believe Harbaugh is from that line of thinking based on how he was coached.  You come in, learn, wait your time and then seize the opportunity.  JOK did this but failed.  I feel bad for him but because of his failures, Peters now steps in, will probably struggles here and there but will be fully tested and ready for next season which allows the other Qb's to learn, wait and be ready.  I feel this has been a pattern for Michigan Qb's for as long as I can remember minus the RR and Hoke years although RR for some reason did keep starting Forcier over DRob during his freshman year.

This is the week

that the offense finds its groove.  Gain confidence and start using plays that are successful until they are stopped.  I don't care if they run the same 10 plays, become great at them and make the opponent stop you.  Sounds simple I know but it will bring success.  Rutgers, Minny and Maryland are perfect recipes to right the ship heading into Scony and that other team.  I'm not from there but come every year for one home game, this year I will be there for the Gopher game.  I would love some suggestions for a great college atmosphere bar and resturant.  Thanks.

This may be viewed badly by

This may be viewed badly by some as I've heard from some Michigan alumn that I've met throughout my life that I'm not allowed to be a fan since I never went to school there.  Grew up in the early 80's in South Dakota and was lucky to get one channel, which luckily on Saturdays showed the Big Ten game of the week which usually involved Michigan.  Became a fan.  Fell in love with them.  I make yearly trips to the Big House with my wife and kids (Michigan fans because they have to be) and now live in Minnesota and have to put up with very annoying Gopher fans.  I was at the Halloween game at TCF, I was at the 24 point come back game at the Dome.  I'm so glad I don't live within ear shot of Michigan sports talk.  This blog is a godsend.  You guys make me laugh at the great posts and comments.  My two cents is that it will get better.  We are better off with Harbaugh and if he gets "run out of town" it'll be the biggest mistake made.  I can't believe how quickly people forget losing records, missing bowl games and losing some embarrassing games and wininng some really ugly ones under Hoke and RR.  I acutally think Hoke and Michigan should swallow some pride and bring him in in some capacity.  Great recruiter and he loves that team and school.  Each year is different, some for the worse some for the better.  It's sports, they're kids.  We all want them to dominate and when they don't it's a punch to the gut.  I for one will never stray from this team, I will never bad talk this team or coach.  We will win and we will win a lot.  The rewards for all the painful games, the almosts and the could've, would've, shoud've are coming.  Have faith.

Makes me wonder

Makes me wonder with all the bad calls, the drive killing calls that didn't called for Michigan and the drive extending calls that were made in OSU's favor.

Clearly a double standard for one team over the other.

I hate to sound like a sore loser, we lost, it sucks, I accept it, but....Harbaugh has "ruffled" feathers.  I love that he is our coach but you know he rubs others the wrong way.  Message being sent to him maybe?

Slight chance, slight chance that if Michigan beats OSU and goes on to lose BIG Championship game that the BIG could be left out of the playoffs.  Everyone in BIG would have 2 losses if that is the case.  OSU winning guarantees a BIG team in playoffs with a fringe chance of 2.  Wisconsin maybe, if they win but that takes a Clemson or Washington loss.  If the later happens, I think Michigan is in no matter who wins BIG Championship.  I truely feel that the "look the other way" attitude came into to play Saturday.  Covered their asses.
